Cozy log cabin on West Kettle River acreage, ATV & hunting access from property

A 1,400 sq ft hand-built log cabin just South of Beaverdell, on Highway 33 between Kelowna and the Kettle Valley. Private 5-acres, surrounded by nature on the West Kettle River. Grand rock fireplace is propane (no wood to haul), and the kitchen is a real cook’s kitchen — 6-burner KitchenAid gas range, full fridge, dishwasher and large granite island (fully stocked). Outside boasts two fire pit spaces: one under cover on the back deck (propane fire pit) and the other is a wood-fire pit (if you prefer to flex your muscles chopping wood). Enjoy the serenity outdoors with a cup of tea and your favourite book, take a walk down to the river, cast a line to catch yourself some rainbow trout, explore neighbouring Beaverdell and Rock Creek’s weekend farmer’s markets for local gems and learn about their gold panning history. The property also has direct access to endless ATV trails and FSRs, with plenty of room to park ATV trailers. In the summer, enjoy swimming and tubing in the West Kettle River along our 300ft river frontage with two sand beaches. Sleeps 7.

The space
One open great room on the main floor: stone propane fireplace, large TV, cabin sofas, and a high-top dining table by the deck doors. Custom log stairs and an arched log entry-way lead through the house. The master bedroom with a king bed is on this level, and has a half-bath attached. A bunk room with a twin over double bunk is located just down the hall. The full bath, with claw foot tub and shower is located on the main floor as well.

The loft is a second living/sleeping space under the beams — queen log bed, dresser, couch, another large TV, and a washer and dryer behind the rail. You can do laundry without leaving the cabin.

• Main-floor bedroom: king bed with Tempurpedic mattress, large windows to take in the trees and sunlight.
• Bunk room: single over double bunk bed, dresser, and games

Bathrooms
Enjoy the warmth of a heated tile floor in the main bathroom with a clawfoot tub to relax & soak in, rainfall shower, vanity, and a bidet toilet located on the main floor. Separate half bath is attached to the master bedroom, also on the main floor.

Kitchen
Granite counters and island with bar stools, professional 6-burner gas range and hood, stainless fridge with filtered ice/water, dishwasher, and a Keurig coffee station. The back patio has a 4-burner Blackstone grill, giving you plenty of space to show off your culinary skills indoors and out. Plan on cooking here; bring groceries and you can stay in all weekend.

Where you are
Beaverdell is a small West Kettle River community in Boundary Country — quiet, forested, and built for time outside. Fish or walk the river, ride the Trans Canada / Kettle Valley Rail Trail, and use the cabin as a base for hiking, ATVing, or snowmobiling on surrounding Crown land. Big White is about 45 minutes; Kelowna is just over an hour when you need a grocery run. This is a village with a general store, not a resort strip.
