« The only big issue was that the VRBO listing gave us the wrong address. It sent us to Scarborough instead of Saco. Luckily we were familiar with the area and I knew that Saco was close to Old Orchard Beach, which was mentioned in the listing, so I did a google map search of the same address in Saco and it looked like the pictures. « Check in was convenient. The location was great for renting a boat, getting gas, paddling and kayaking. Plenty of room inside, great size kitchen and appliances. Washer and dryer on same floor a bonus. sleeping accommodations primarily in basement except for master on third floor and 2 twins only on main floor, the rest in basement and one is shared with the water heater system and pump system lull you to sleep. « Very comfortable home. Host was easily available for questions. House was extremely clean and well located in South Portland. Host lives on bottom floor in property but we did not run into him. Highly recommend this property. »

« We spent the days exploring the area (hikes, horseback riding, seeing lighthouses, exploring Portland etc.) and it was a nice place to come "home" to for my family (6 of us). We cooked a lot and the kitchen had everything we needed! It was a bit hotter while we were there (unseasonably I believe) and so we definitely used the window air conditioners. Overall the house was very comfortable for us, was clean and provided everything we needed! »

Only one thing I can think of to consider if you’re thinking of staying- The 3rd bedroom that advertised 2 twin beds was a really small room with one twin bed on a bed frame and the other was a twin mattress up against the wall. There was a cot frame for that mattress and the mattress was comfortable but if it was also down and set up no one could really get out of the beds without stepping on the other mattress.
