Les points faibles : Propreté, équipements, infrastructures et conditions de l’hébergement
Positive points:
The hotel is in a good location, about a 30-minute drive from Boston and Salem. The car park, although modest, is secure and convenient for easy parking. When we arrived (a little ahead of schedule), we were warmly welcomed by the staff, which made for a pleasant first impression.
Negative points:
Unfortunately, this good impression did not last. The room had a strong musty smell, the carpet was sticky, and the bathroom clearly needed renovation. The curtains also had some questionable stains.
The breakfast was very disappointing considering the price of the room: extremely limited choice, no fruit juice or water available, and overall quality well below expectations.
The swimming pool was closed and, worse still, a strong smell of chlorine spread into the common areas.
In terms of comfort, the walls are so thin that it is impossible not to hear the conversations (and arguments) of the neighbours. The lights in the corridor, which are on all the time, filter into the room and prevent complete darkness. Finally, the vending machines were empty, adding to the general frustration.
In summary:
An overall disappointing experience. The establishment does not match the description on the website and does not justify the price charged. Give it a miss!
