Nicely decorated hotel and Jacob and the lady, I didn't get the name of, in the bar/restaurant were very welcoming and friendly, a credit to the hotel.I'm 43 now so if I have got Jacobs name wrong please accept my apologies. Food was excellent too and reasonably priced . »

« Great value for money. Friendly staff during check in, clean good sized room (we stayed in a small double atic window) tvs had smart tv features like netflix. The bed was very comfy and good toiletries in the en suite. Fantastic location, right on the main street of Cockermouth and free parking at the hotel. Lovely quiet stay.
