« As advertised this is a great home with lots of room and extras (chest freezer, ice chests, plenty of split and stacked dry firewood, extra bedding). Host is very responsive and helpful, The place is spotless and well equipped with nice views and in a good neighborhood. We loved everything about it. »

« The house was very nicely finished and the location was amazing! Our host was very accommodating when we got in a bind with a cancelled flight. We were in Kodiak on business so we didn't have much time to explore but would love to come back and stay here again and take a fishing trip and sightseeing tour with Rick and Hope! »

« The host was very accomodating and responsive. The house has a nice arctic entry for storing gear. 2 refrigerators, and a chest freezer. Plenty of space to store food. Smart TVs in every room. And comfortable beds. Very much recommend »

« Awesome house! Big Bear was perfect for our group of 7 adults. The beds were very comfortable and the living room and kitchen space were perfect! »

« We truly enjoyed our stay at the Catch. Stephen is a terrific host and a really nice guy. Both the views from the house and location are fantastic to see and fully immerse yourself in the beauty of Kodiak Island. The only reason I did not give 5 stars is that it was difficult for me to figure out how to unlock the door after entering the code. Thankfully i had someone in my group who could and Kodiak is safe enough that we left the door unlocked most of the time we were there »

« Very nice places to stay. The beds were very nice. We were all able to get a good nights sleep. The only issue for us was steps. It would have been nice to have a ramp to carry in luggage and groceries. »
