Creek Street is a historic area of Ketchikan. The street is actually a boardwalk mounted on a set of stakes that support the dwellings built on the water. Formerly it was the district of the red light of Ketchikan. The brothels were banned and closed in 1954. Now the street is a place with shops, galleries, totems and the museum of the House of Dolly. Creek Street was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2014.

« This place is great. Second time we stayed. It’s on a hill overlooking the port. Eagles fly by all day. We saw a whale feeding next to the dock. Went fishing on the floating piers. Views are great. It is in the middle of town but up and away from traffic. Easy access to stores and tourist areas. Very clean and has washer/dryer to use. City is great area. « This cabin is very clean and the communication was excellent. This place would be fine for a weekend stay but we had an extended 3 week stay due to moving. It was a challenge with a tiny fridge, no stove or oven and a small kitchen sink. We were aware of this before booking it but our options were limited. « Great 4 bdrm home on the water south of town. Spectacular views, lots of wildlife, we even saw a black bear. There is a creek that empties into the ocean and lots of jumpers can be seen trying to make their way up it. Residents in the cove do their daily fishing from the beach at low tide. Kids had a blast catching tiny crabs. Peggy, owner and host is wonderful. She came for dinner and snacks with us a couple of nights. Best vacation ever. »

« This was a magical experience for my family. The treehouse is even better than the pictures. The owners are very friendly and had great communication during our stay - including a text to let us know a pod of orcas were about to swim by. It was a fantastic place to stay in all respects!Just one thing to note - You will definitely need a car if you stay here since it is several miles from downtown Ketchikan. »
