« Host communication was excellent. Location was ideal, walkable to the Boothbay Harbor attractions. Nice new wooden floors upstairs with the bedrooms. No AC which was fine for our stay. We must have stayed the first of the season, as the negatives were related to this. The toilets were disgusting with a foul odor and green mold on toilet seats, presumably from 9 months of zero use and the maids not cleaning prior to our arrival. Either way they should be replaced. All else with home was fine. »

« The location and views from the cottage are quintessential coastal Maine. Small community with lobster pound and Maine Oyster Company across the street. John is a welcoming host and eager to make sure you enjoy your stay. The cottage is great for 2 people, equipped with the basics and has a great deck to enjoy the views. Planning to return next year. « Wow what a beautiful location. We were there right at the peak of fall leaf colors. Would have loved to take a kayak out with my fish rods but the water was cold and we had some rough waters that week. Would love to go back and enjoy this area in the summer.The place was clean and comfortable.So much to do and see in the area so we were only there to sleep at night. »

« What a fantastic property! We had a family birthday celebration- plenty of space to spread out and well set up for hosting. The hosts have thought of everything, from toiletries to a well-stocked kitchen with a very helpful info binder and labels on drawers & cabinets so things were easy to find. The backyard is large with lots of chairs, a cozy porch, and a grill. Everything you need is within walking distance. The stairs to the second floor are steep & shallow, so everyone took their time on...
