The Space:
Tiny Borowa by Tiny Away is a peaceful tiny house nestled in a quiet farming village by the Boorowa River, just an hour from Canberra. This serene and pet-friendly accommodation invites you to slow down and embrace simple living, surrounded by nature, rural paddocks, and sweeping agricultural landscapes.
As one of the region’s most charming holiday homes, it’s conveniently located near Burrinjuck Dam — perfect for water sports such as skiing, sailing, and canoeing. You can also explore the nearby historic village of Binalong, known for its bushranger tales and breathtaking sunrise and sunset views.
A cozy 139-square-foot tiny home with easy access to water, split air conditioning, a kitchenette, cooking equipment, and excellent bathroom facilities. These amenities include an eco-friendly cassette toilet with a removable waste holding tank, a hand basin, and a gas-heated shower.
Guest Access:
Guests can access the tiny home and its surroundings.
Preorders available with 24 hrs prior notice:
- Firewood is provided at an additional cost of $50.
- Tea, coffee, hot chocolate, and milk are provided.
- A gas BBQ is available but must be cleaned after use.

Tiny Boorowa by Tiny Away is a peaceful holiday home in the charming rural town of Boorowa, Hilltops Region, NSW. Known for its Irish heritage, pastoral history, and top-quality merino wool, the area is perfect for relaxing escapes and exploring nearby Hilltops wine cellar doors.
Local highlights include Binalong, a charming village with rustic landscapes, and Burrinjuck, known for watersports like kayaking and skiing. In Boorowa, enjoy great coffee and the famous Farmers Breakfast at the Shamrock Cafe, or visit Marsden St. General for fresh coffee and baked treats. History lovers can explore the Shamrock Trail, featuring colonial and 20th-century buildings, St Patrick's Catholic Church, and riverside heritage sites.

- 30 mins  (35km) drive from Yass
- 3.5 hrs (350km) drive from Sydney 
- 1.5 hrs (120km) drive from Canberra 
- 6.5 hrs (620kms) drive from Melbourne. All reachable are by 2WD, motorbike, bicycle
By public transport:
- Taxis are accessible in Boorowa
- The closest train stations are Yass or Harden
- Transport from the train station is by private arrangement or taxi 
- Bus from Canberra - Yass - Boorowa: book through Transport For NSW or visit website rome2rio and find Canberra - Boorowa, tickets can be purchased at the bus station.
Bus from Cowra - Boorowa: book through Transport For NSW, tickets can be purchased at the bus station.

Other Things to Note:
- WiFi available
- No unregistered guests or visitors are allowed
- No smoking allowed inside/outside the tiny house
- We have a sheep paddock that guests would enjoy
- Our tiny house cannot accommodate a power supply to charge electric vehicles
- We would like to advise guests that later check-outs will incur an additional charge
- Mobile reception is good for Telstra & Optus, while Vodafone, 2degree & Spark have no signal
- Pets are allowed by 24 hrs prior notice, and must be on leash at all times. The full policy will be sent before arrival
Farm guidelines
- Please ensure pets do not chase, bark at, or distress the sheep.
- Do not to feed farm animals as they are on specific diets for their health 
- Keep a safe distance from pets and farm animals as they are easily agitated
Important note:
- BBQ grills and outdoor fire pits are not available during a total fire ban
- Due to the nature of the property, abundant wildlife may be present on the property
- For stays of 5 nights or more, an additional cleaning fee will be collected to help maintain the cassette toilet and ensure a clean and fresh experience for all guests.
