While the Elite King room had potential, it fell short in comfort and atmosphere. The space would feel much cozier with a rug and small table in front of the fireplace — without them, the fireplace feels underutilized and more decorative than inviting. The room lighting was also on the dim side; a floor lamp or some recessed lighting would help brighten it up.
There was no telephone in the room and no hotel information provided — no details about restaurant hours, spa options, or nearby attractions. At check-in, the staff was friendly but didn’t offer much beyond the basics of breakfast hours and room location.
Security could also be improved; exterior doors should be secured after dark. The biggest issue, however, was the bed. It had a deep dip in the center that made it difficult to sleep comfortably or stay flat — definitely a sign that it’s time for a replacement.
Overall, the staff was pleasant, but the room and amenities need attention to bring the experience up to the level expected for an “Elite” stay.
