"I cannot put into words how good our time in Escala was. Graham was absolutely incredible as a host, and the house is impeccable. It’s a perfect getaway for friends and family, in the most scenic picturesque location. The house has everything: a pool, jacuzzi, plenty of common areas, a second house!! It’s honestly one of the best places we have rented as a group, and hope that many others get to experience the place the way we did. Thank you Graham for a marvelous stay!"

"The cottage was lovely and exceeded our expectations. There are lots of beautiful trails for hiking and running close by and you can get local produce in the area. Host and hostess were super welcoming and accommodating, answered any questions and helped when needed!! Would recommend anyone to stay here."

The interior and garden were very lovingly done up - it felt like a real home. The house was very well equipped. We had easy access from there to lots of lovely hikes and there was also a nice golf course nearby which we played on once. The owners were in touch regularly and very helpful."

"This is a lovely base from which to explore the Pyrenees (around 1/2 hour to 1 hour’s drive). The owners are very friendly and helpful. We had a very mellow time sitting on the patio watching the cows and the stars!"

"Nous avons passé un excellent séjour Débent. Le gîte est vaste et adapté pour accueillir un groupe en nombre. La grange avec table de ping-pong et fléchettes a été très appréciée de tous ! Tout a été mis en œuvre par les propriétaires pour faciliter notre séjour. Nous recommandons!"

"We enjoyed our stay in this cute mountain cabin. The views were incredible and it was easy to find. The beds were comfortable, but be warned you need to bring your own sheets and towels, which is not made clear when you book. The floorboards are a little squeaky and there are no comfy chairs outside to sit and admire that gorgeous view from, but apart from that, it was very pleasant. The kitchen is well stocked and the place was immaculately clean. Philippe was a very welcoming host."

"Do not arrive without a car. It is not far from the airport but there is no shuttle. Taxis come from Tarbes and charge 20 euros to come to hotel before taking you anywhere"

"We stayed in an apartment. I loved the property and its relaxed feel and location. Some lovely walks are available close by. The reception staff spoke good English and were very polite and helpful. They are very spacious, warm and clean, but very self contained. The bed was comfortable but pillow choice was limited. Kitchen was nice with 2 hot plates, no oven or frying pan. There is a dishwasher but no washing machine. Unfortunately the WiFi was not working and was not fixed during our stay. Excellent self parking and it was easy to get a good night sleep here. "

"Booked for 3 nights. Left after 2 as soon as we could get booked in elsewhere. I understand it’s “budget” but the rooms are more like prison sells. The bathroom was filthy, mould all around the edges, brown splats up the door. Door was falling apart at the bottom. It was 25° when we stayed and the aircon wasn’t working. It was unbearable in the room. We kept trying to catch someone on reception and every time we went down no one was around. If you are booking a family room with bunk bed, be prepared you will need to set this up and put the sheets on. The only thing that I would say was a good point was that the car park was secure. The town has very little in it, so it’s all fast food outlets."
