Not a 5 Star Experience
This house is in a beautiful location, but it is misrepresented as to the condition of the home. Most of the furniture was very old, dirty, and stained. Some of the carpets and rugs were stained, and the dining chairs were wobbly and looked like they may break. Cabinet, dresser, and closet knobs were either missing or falling off. Some of the thermostats were falling off the wall. Screens were torn or missing from windows. Paint was peeling in one of the showers, and shower heads were malfunctioning and needed to be replaced. The primary bedroom was missing a shade, and there is no accessible closet space in that room. Lower bedrooms were missing hardware for their window treatments. There were wasps' nests outside on the patio, and spray did not help the situation. Patio furniture is rough and stained as well. There were issues with the air conditioning, that should have been resolved before our rental period, so that we would not have had to deal with those issues. The house is advertised as a luxury property, but it is far from it as it is in need of repair. I have stayed at many homes in the area for decades and this is the first time I have ever written a negative review. Frankly, had I seen this house before renting it, I never would have rented it.
