« Clean rooms - great place »

« It's a very affordable option. Because if that is very basic. You do get things like a microwave and mini fridge but my room didn't come with a bar in the closet or other option to hang my clothes. The bathroom has no heat so staying in March it was quite cold in there especially when the light was on and the vent was pulling air. »

« The house is cute but very small. In the pictures it looks bigger, also the stairs to the second floor are very steep and narrow so not ideal for older people. The house was also not clean very well. We found a dirty sweater and half full bottle of water in one of the rooms, a chewed dog bone full of hair in the living room couch, a bloom stain in one of the beds and there were also a few hair balls on the kitchen floor. If cleaned properly is not that bad. »

« Pros:- kitchen is clean and well-equipped- beds are very comfortable- host was quick to respond to initial questions- parking was fine- huge decks overlooking the water are lovely- Washer/dryer was great to have- Host provided more than ample soaps, towels, TP, etc.Challenges:- Off-season, this area is pretty isolated - not a criticism, just helpful to know- The inside stairs are honestly scary - more like a ladder- Lighting throughout the house is dim- The couch cushions are pretty spent,...

« Everything was good, but the hotel was dated and will look really nice once they are able to renovate it. We couldn't beat the price for attending a concert at Mohegan Sun. I couldn't see paying $400+ for the hotels closer to Mohegan Sun. The Grand Lake Hotel was worth the cost we paid. »
