« This review considers the amazingly low price we paid (£40), compared to other availability in the area. We requested (and booked) a family room, on arrival, we were given two double rooms opposite each other. Not a problem for our 1 night stay, but it could have been. « The hotel has seen better days: it's a bit grubby in the corners and the fitments are ageing. The staff are friendly and the breakfast is quite good, but--strangely for an airport hotel--they don't start serving till 7.30. By 10.00 guests are meant to leave the hotel! »

« All staff were excellent, super friendly and helpful, I'd booked an attic room but seeing my husband on crutches they immediately swapped us into a first floor room which I think was an upgrade as it had a huge freestanding copper bath and Chesterfield sofa as well as a king (or maybe super king) sized bed. « The the staff were amazing. We couldn’t fault anything. On arrival we checked in at reception to be greeted with our room information and all information relevant to the hotel such as parking and food. We were shown to our room which was lovely very comfortable bed and the shower was amazing. We popped over for dinner and had our son and grandson join us. Our grandson has a peanut allergy. « L’hôtel est situé dans un magnifique emplacement au bord de la rivière Tyne. Extérieurs et intérieur, spacieux, cosy »

« Confortable mais piscine n'était pas inclus dans la chambre et c'est très petit. Le savon etc est jeté tout les jours et le dernier jour non remplacé. Soucis avec le bouchon d'évier mais c'était rectifié très rapidement. »

« A pleasant cottage, but there is no access to back garden as 2 very large dogs were there. They also scratch / jump at the back door (in lounge) in the middle of the night! Front garden not as pretty as picture with some dog mess and dogs watching through gate. Lastly boiler is in bedroom so you can hear when it comes on. »
