Chalet de montagne confortable avec toutes les commodités que vous désirez! Profitez de la vue imprenable sur la montagne toute l'année depuis le porche arrière couvert pendant que vous vous prélassez dans le bain à remous relaxant! La cabine est décorée avec goût avec des illustrations et un décor de la faune. Internet sans fil pour votre ordinateur portable et chauffage central et climatisation (pas une unité de fenêtre comme certaines cabines).
La chambre principale et une chambre d'amis sont au niveau principal. La chambre principale a une porte extérieure privée menant à la terrasse et au bain à remous. Les deux chambres du niveau principal ont des matelas à plateau-coussin queen-size et des draps moelleux! Un canapé-lit queen confortable est également au niveau principal et deux lits jumeaux / simples sont dans la partie finie du sous-sol. Il y a des ventilateurs de plafond dans chaque chambre et l'intérieur de la cabine a de beaux planchers, murs et plafonds en pin! Entrée sans marches dans la cabine!
À seulement dix minutes du centre-ville historique de Blue Ridge et du Scenic Blue Ridge Railway (visites en train de montagne disponibles)! À une quinzaine de minutes du centre-ville historique d'Ellijay, du lac Blue Ridge, de la rivière Toccoa et de la rivière Cartecay. À une trentaine de minutes de la rivière Ocoee ou du parc d'État d'Amicalola Falls (les plus hautes chutes d'eau du sud-est!) Il y a plusieurs lacs de montagne approvisionnés à distance de marche dans cette communauté de cabane exclusive de huit mille acres. Le célèbre sentier Benton-Mackaye, qui croise le sentier des Appalaches, traverse la montagne sur laquelle se trouve la cabane! Il y a aussi plusieurs installations d'équitation à proximité de la cabine!
Venez profiter des vues et des sons de la nature dans la cabane «The Bear's Lair» dans les magnifiques montagnes de Géorgie du Nord! Allée pavée et aire de stationnement. Environ 90 minutes au nord d'Atlanta. Désolé, pas d'animaux.

Great place amazing views

We went up for Valentines weekend. House was very clean and had an amazing view off the deck. The weather was not good but we had a wonderful time because the house felt like we were at home and very comfortable. Definitely recommend this place when staying in Blue Ridge.

Amazing view and hospitality

The cabin was beautiful and the view off of the back porch stunning!! Mr. Garcia went above and beyond to make sure we had a great time and suggested some places to go and things to do!! Although we did not bring our children, I did notice they have plastic cups and plates for those who choose to bring kids which I thought was nice to have! We saw deer off the back balcony as well as on the drive up and down to the cabin. It is only about 15 minutes to downtown blue ridge and the same to Ellijay! We did not want to leave from this beautiful place!! We will definitely be back!!! :D Thank you so much again for a wonderful stay and beautiful home!!

Nice cabin

Nice cabin, comfortable, with most everything you need. Check-in was easy. Communication with owner was prompt and friendly. Location was good. Close to everything in the area. Lots of wildlife on the drive to and from the cabin. The roads in and out are rough. The biggest negative is that there is nothing to do at the cabin. Down an extremely narrow stairway, there are Pingpong and foosball tables downstairs in an area that is under repairs. If you open that backdoor down there, there is a narrow porch, but it's not a space to sit out or anything. There is no maintained yard area. The firepit is right in front of the cabin and that's it. To oneside there is a swing for kids, but it is not maintained. There is a hottub, we used it, but the chemicals were really strong (it bleached a bathingsuit from green to gray) so that was a one and done situation. You can't walk the property. We didn't spend much time at the cabin, which was somewhat disappointing.

Beautiful getaway!

The cabin and surroundings were exactly as advertised, including sightings of wildlife. The amenities made us feel like we were home. Beds were comfortable, cooking was convenient, and clean up was easy. Eddie even ordered the best weather for our trip! The area has great hiking, delicious foods, and friendly residents.

The Perfect getaway

We enjoyed the hot tub and foosball with the kids. Made family dinners and cuddled close to watch movies together as a family. It’s a cute little cabin at the top of Cherry Log Mountain. We had tickets to the Holiday Train in Blue Ridge which was within minutes of our location. We’ll have to come back in the Fall to check out the scenery more and enjoy some hiking during a little warmer weather. Definitely would recommend this listing for anytime of year! Happy Holidays!

Blue Ridge Bear’s Lair

The cabin was very clean, comfortable and well located for all the things we wanted to do. The only thing that I would point out and it is certainly not the property owners fault is the road going up the mountain to the cabin is a little rugged, but still drivable. I would caution that Internet accessibility is limited and slow and is probably not an issue with the cabin as much with the area!

Great stay in Blue Ridge

This cabin in the sky has beautiful views of the forrest. Comfortable, clean and homey, we enjoyed our lazy evenings of friendship in front of the fire. Eddie checked in to make sure everything was great. We will be back!

Cozy but Spacious

The cabin was cozy, but spacious and very clean. The view from the hot tub and large back patio has a great view of the mountains. There are cabins nearby, but still felt private. The drive to downtown was 15-20 minutes, but nice. Eddie, the host was very helpful and nice. I would rent this cabin again.

Charming cabin exactly as advertised and extremely clean. Host called to check on us and make sure all was well. We enjoyed day trips to sights around the cabin. Definitely will come back here and 5 stars for sure.

Our family (husband, myself and sons 20&17) had a delightful time at the Bear’s Lair Cabin. We had deer and turkey visit multiple times daily. My son spent hours taking pictures! The cabin was very clean and comfortable and the woodsy decor added to the charm! It was spacious enough that a couple of us were able to escape the snoring at night from a couple humans! It was so quiet and peaceful there (minus our snorers!) even though it’s not far from downtown Blue Ridge or Elijay. The owner texted a day or so after we arrived to make sure everything was ok. (He also texted when it was discovered we left our swim bag hanging on the hook after we left. They were kind enough to mail it to us!) We definitely plan to book the Bear’s Lair again on our next trip!

Exactly what we were hoping for!

This cabin was perfect for my adult daughter and I to enjoy a Blue Ridge Mountain adventure. The cabin is very clean and attractively decorated. We appreciated that there was a washer and dryer available to use. The view from the front porch is awesome and we saw a couple of deer right underneath us! There are many great attractions, cute shops and hiking trails nearby. We also took a day trip to Chattanooga, TN. Ed was very easy to reach and responsive if we needed anything. I am sure anyone would enjoy this cabin.

Quiet and Relaxing Getaway

The cottage was very clean and fresh, and we had no real problems. There were a couple of minor issues which the owner dealt with quickly; excellent communications with him. Nice view from the deck, hot tub was relaxing after a day of hiking, and rocking chairs were nice. The kitchen was adequate and had all the essential cookware and utensils. WIFI was very good and provided good coverage for our phones. As some others have commented, the road was a little rough (a 4-wheel drive is certainly not needed) but the curves had a washboard effect and the inside of the curves was particularly rough. After the first drive up, I learned to stay on the extreme outside or the curves (go slow and be alert for on-coming traffic) and that made the drive much easier. On the morning we left, they were scraping the road so I suspect the situation was much better after we left. Lots of good trails in the area (we went into the Aska area twice) and plenty of good restaurants in Blue Ridge. We particularly liked Ferraro's which is pricey but had exquisite food, and we liked Southern Charm. All-in-all, we would stay here again if we decide to go back to the Blue Ridge area.

Amazing Blue Mountain Experience

This cabin is everything one would want for a cabin. The view is stunning and the cabin has all that is needed. The property owner is available for all questions and is clear and helpful. The only scary part is the drive up. I suggest a 4x4. I had a van and made it up, but it was a scary climb. The cabin is at the highest point which is great for amazing views. It is centrally located to all waterfalls and wineries. We truly had an amazing mountain experience!

Cozy Cabin on the Mountain

We had a great couple of nights here! Ed was extremely responsive and helpful, and the cabin was as cozy and clean as advertised. Gorgeous views off the back porch, and tons of privacy made it feel like we were miles away from civilization. This trip was exactly what we needed! 10/10 highly recommend!

Wonderful getaway a short drive from Altanta

We were having a friends getaway and i am glad I chose this cabin as our rental. Its a short ride from the main street partly on gravel roads which is part of the fun of the drive. We were initially 4 folks that were scheduled to stay at the rental which increased to 6 and each time I let Ed know about the increase in occupants, he was really nice about it and did not charge when we added a 6th occupant. The views from the back of the cabin are wonderful. It would have been better had the trees not been covering the sunrise. There was a power issue one evening due to high winds and Ed was quick to respond with updates until the power came back on. Good location, good ambience, great host.

Great getaway!

Beautiful property! Perfect for a romantic getaway, very quiet and wonderful view!! And the wildlife is incredible- we spotted deer and bears from the cabin deck!! But we were especially pleased with the communication with the owner and the fact that he truly does not allow pets on the property. We have VERY bad allergies to animals and have found in the past with other properties that the "no pets allowed" rule is not strictly enforced, which caused many allergy attacks and even has forced us to leave in the middle of vacations. But that was not the case with this beautiful home. We were actually able to enjoy ourselves without any allergy attacks!! The home also did not smell of any synthetic fragrances which is another huge plus. It's as close to hypoallergenic as I've ever seen in a rental home!! We loved our stay here and will certainly be back very soon!!

An absolute gem!

This is a fantastic cabin and our family loved it. It had everything you could possibly need and the location is great. The hot tub and foosball table were a hit with the kids along with the wild turkeys that paid us a visit. The communication was great and Ed went out of his way to accommodate us after we had to reschedule due to a family emergency. We looking forward to coming back!
