Our home is equipped with enough sleeping spaces to accommodate a large family. On the main level, you'll find one bedroom filled with all sorts of comforts – a king bed, check; crib? Check! Plus, lots of board games for added entertainment. Just up and to the right from there, you'll find another room with queen-sized mattresses. And that's not all – head left on those stairs and discover even more dreamy goodness: a queen bed plus a twin bed, AND ANOTHER CRIB?! That'll do nicely... But just wait until you venture into the basement, where two full bedrooms await with king beds, as well as two trundle twinsies down below. Sweet dreams await everyone here at this homestead haven.

**BATHROOMS**
The master bedroom offers the epitome of luxury with its ensuite bathroom, providing ultimate convenience and privacy. On the first floor, a half bath near the living room offers convenience for guests and residents alike. Moving upstairs, the second bathroom on the second level of the home ensures ample facilities for all occupants. Guest has access to all areas of the cabin except the cleaning closet.
Guests have public lake access in the neighborhood.

Other Things to Note:
Pets are allowed for a certain fee, but should be communicated to us prior to arrival. Do let us know how many of your fur babies should we expect to arrive as well.

NO CATS; the owner is highly allergic.

Guests are required to sign Cherokee Rose Homes Rental Contract prior to their reservation

Please note that our property is nestled in the mountains amidst a wooded area, which means that the open spaces and outdoor sitting areas may be exposed to leaves, dust, pollen, and other natural elements. After a few days from the last cleaning, these outside areas may accumulate leaves, pollen, and some dust due to their exposure. We appreciate your understanding in this regard.

This space has been prepared for guests traveling from out of town!
We love to host guests from out of town who have previously stayed in short-term rentals and earned favorable reviews.

While we appreciate the interest in staying with our property, please note that we do not cater to guests who live in the area and are looking for an alternate venue for their affairs or events and reserve the right to turn these guests away.

Please bring charcoal for the green egg grill. Firewood is not provided. There will be a $500 fine for fires left unattended or fires that were not put out prior to leaving or retiring for the night. We don't want any embers be blown over to the nearby trees/woods, or anything that can potentially set it on fire.

Guests give permission to the property manager to use a third-party to screen their identity and check criminal databases to confirm their reservation. Complete terms regarding the guest screening can be provided by the property manager. You may receive an email to complete your screening. Please check your spam inbox for this email and contact the property manager if you have any questions. Guests are required to complete the guest screening booking requirement, to avoid cancellation of the reservation.

The porch furniture and cushions were not clean. There was no information about local activities and things to do and no manual concerning the property and its use. the ping pong table that appears in the photos is not a real ping pong table and should be replaced with one. More lamps should be in the living area. Don't ask people to bring toilet paper and paper products - the daily fees should cover those items. The interior of the house was clean and the kitchen was well stocked. Tea bags should have been provided. We were not advised until the day before occupancy that the lease had not been signed and I had to call to find that out.

Great house with one big thing to understand in advance

Most important review item. The description clearly shows that the house is not on the lake; it is one street up the hill. The pictures do show that you can see the lake from the house. However, we now see that those pictures were taken in the winter with no leaves on the trees. We were there in May, and there are leaves on the trees resulting in no real view of the lake at all. If that’s important to you, look elsewhere. The interior pictures of the house are very accurate. Great things about the property. The inside was very clean. It’s a huge house with lots of sitting areas, beds, etc. making it great for large/multi family gatherings. There are plenty of games to entertain children. The kitchen was very well stocked with pots, pans, plates, silverware. Interestingly, they had three systems for making coffee: Keurig (with pods provided), drip coffee (filters provided), and equipment to do pour-overs. Pretty limited on spices, oils, and other pantry items needed to cook meals; bring your own. Things that need immediate attention. The hot tub needs a thorough cleaning as it had a brown film on the bottom of the tub. We did not feel comfortable using it in that condition. There are no usable darts for the dart board. The foosball table playing surface is warped. They ought to tone down with the “we’ll charge you $250 if you don’t take out the trash” paperwork inside the house.

Perfect Friends Weekend Getaway!

The cabin was so cozy, and made us all feel so happy and together. The layout was great, and we all had plenty of private spaces and common spaces. The kitchen is nice and very well stocked with any possible cooking implement. Would happily stay again!! Great views!
