Acado House | Your Scottish Bolthole with Hot Tub

Acado House is a spacious five bedroom home in the peaceful Perthshire countryside at Campmuir, sleeping up to 10 guests. With four ensuite bedrooms, two living rooms, a private hot tub and an infrared sauna, it suits extended families, groups of friends and multi generational stays. Two ground floor bedrooms help those who prefer to avoid stairs, and Blairgowrie`s golf courses are just 7 miles away. Have a fantastic stay at Acado House.


Living Space and Bedrooms

Acado House is arranged across two levels. Two bedrooms are on the ground floor and three are upstairs. With a bathroom and a separate WC also on the ground floor, the layout works well for mixed age groups and less mobile guests.

Four of the five bedrooms have their own ensuite bathroom: one with a super king bed, two with king beds and one with a double bed. The fifth bedroom has two single beds, one standard single and one day bed, and uses the family bathroom.

Most bedrooms include a Smart TV, blackout blinds, a full length mirror, a hairdryer and storage in the form of a built-in wardrobe, chest of drawers or walk in closet.

The house has five bathrooms in total: four ensuites and a family bathroom on the ground floor. The family bathroom also houses an infrared sauna. Between them, the bathrooms offer both bath and shower options.

There are two living rooms, giving groups space to spread out. The main living room has a Sony TV and a log burner, which is available seasonally with a starter pack of logs provided. The second living room has a TV and beautiful views.

Books and board games are provided, along with toys and games for younger guests. WiFi runs through a Starlink connection.

Kitchen and Dining

The kitchen is well equipped for self catering stays. It includes a dishwasher, a microwave, a built in Smeg coffee machine and a cafetière for slower mornings.

The dining room has a table seating all 10 guests, so the whole group can sit down together for meals.

A separate utility room holds a washing machine, tumble dryer, iron and ironing board, and a clothes airer. These are useful for families and longer stays. A highchair and travel cot are also available.

Outdoor Space and Practical Features

The private garden is child friendly and mostly enclosed. Outdoor seating accommodates 10 or more guests, and there is a charcoal BBQ for summer evenings. The hot tub is for the exclusive use of Acado House guests, offering a relaxing way to end the day.

Private parking is shared with the neighbouring property, Schiehallion, with space for up to four cars depending on size. The nearest EV charging points are in Blairgowrie, around 7 miles away.

The house is heated by oil and electric, with Hive thermostats on each floor.


Guests have access to the full house, private garden and hot tub. The garage is not accessible to guests.

There are around six steps up to the entrance, with a ramp alongside for easier access. An internal staircase of 15 steps leads to the first floor. The ground floor shower has a small step in.

Parking is shared with the neighbouring property, with space for up to four cars depending on size. External CCTV is in place, covering the driveway only.

The property is not pet friendly and has a maximum occupancy of 10 guests. Children should be supervised around the hot tub.

Acado House can be booked together with the neighbouring property, Schiehallion, for larger groups. A garden gate connects the two properties when both are booked together.

This property is owned by a third-party property owner and professionally managed by Clark Anderson Properties on their behalf.


Acado House sits in the rural hamlet of Campmuir, with Burrelton less than a mile away. Burrelton Stores and Post Office is about a mile from the house for everyday essentials. Coupar Angus, around 2 miles away, offers more amenities, including the Red House Hotel and Lime Tree Indian Cuisine.

Golfers are well placed here. Blairgowrie Golf Club, home to the renowned Rosemount and Lansdowne courses, is about 7 miles away. Alyth Golf Club and Strathmore Golf Centre are both around 10 miles.

For families, Davie Park in Blairgowrie has a playground and duck pond, and Cargill`s Leap offers an easy riverside walk. Active Kids Adventure Park near Stanley, roughly 10 to 12 miles away, makes a popular full day out.

Dundee is approximately 16 miles away, a 25 to 30 minute drive. Edinburgh is around 50 miles, about 1 hour 10 minutes by car. The nearest beaches are at Broughty Ferry and Monifieth, roughly 30 to 35 minutes away.
