« Positive: location, the peaceful feeling of a country house, the view on the fields and horses, cozy apartment. Room for improvement: all 3 mattresses were sagging/broken, we all basically slept on springs. The radiator of the 2 single beds room was so noisy we had to turn it off. Wifi very weak but I guess it does not depend on the owners. »

« Cleanliness of the property and facilities good. Description on sleeps upto to 4 and sofa bed inside Sky Pod 1 is incorrect. The sofa is a standard sofa and only contains a double bed. When questioned with host via email I was offered a mattress for hire. When I pointed out the accommodation is advertised as standard sleeps upto 4 and the accommodation is stated sky pod 1 with a sofa bed, I received no response. Also had issues with set up of the TV. « The bungalow (which is spotless) and surrounding area was a joy to experience. Stunning views from the conservatory and garden. This bungalow is a real home from home. It is a little bit off the beaten track (don’t let that put you off…else you will miss out on an amazing holiday….we actually didn’t want to leave) so would recommend online shopping delivery or shop before you arrive. So much to explore in the surrounding area too! Highly recommend! »

« A lovely Location. One issue with the seating , chairs are not comfortable to sit on for long periods. Perhaps a small Sofa would be better. The bed was very good. »

« The Birches is an absolutely beautiful location. It is so picturesque, and quiet. An absolutely lovely spot. The house itself is charming, but folks with limited mobility would have a hard time navigating the steps, uneven floors, and doorways. The area directly surrounding it is perfect for long walks through the hills. »
