« What a beautiful property. With fireplaces and multiple sitting areas we were spoilt for choice of where to hang out. We had a large group and had a wonderful dinner that we cooked onsite. We were all able to sit at one of the large dining areas comfortably, then had a few wines in one of the sitting rooms. The house is in a great location and Wendy and Wayne were very helpful with our requests. The welcome platter was a lovely surprise. We would definitely be happy to stay again. »

« Magnificent property and gardens. Well appointed, clean, warm light filled delightful accommodation with every fine detail catered for . Hosts were so welcoming. The puppy loved it too. Lots of walks around the many well marked walking trails. We will be back and stay longer. »

It's probably best described as "shabby chic" as the decor and furnishings are interesting but the cottage is not renovated completely which is part of its charm and makes it good value. It has a lovely view from the back deck and is a five minute walk from all the shops and cafes in Blackheath. . »
