Next to good hiking trails in the beautiful Ribble Valley Only downside was the rooms on the ground floor get some noise from creaking floors from the rooms above. Last visit was particularly bad because there was a wedding reception so the noise from the floor above went on very late. »

« Stayed in a single budget room which was clean and comfortable. The staff and owner make you feel very welcome. Good breakfast and well stocked bar - nice pint of Guiness. No complaints and great value. Pay and display car park a stones throw at £3 for 24 hours. No food in the evenings but would recommend the Dolphin chippy down the hill. Made a pleasant change from the corporate hotel chains. »
