« Had a marvelous time on a long weekend. This was the perfect cozy place for a couples’ retreat. The house is very modern considering its history and age. It’s located in a quiet neighborhood just a couple blocks from Lake Tomahawk and all the activities available there. For walkers, it’s just 10-15 minutes from downtown. It’s an uphill walk for the first part, but so worth it when you don’t have to worry about parking! The upstairs bedroom is comfortable (VERY comfy bed!) with its own 1/2 bath....

« Beautiful cozy home with amazing views and is very well equipped. Brian and Jennifer (Host) were absolutely wonderful making sure we had all we needed, they even sent Beautiful flowers with a sympathy note in support of my mothers funeral.Thank you so much Brian & Jennifer for your prayers and kind words!!!!! »

« We stayed at the Dogwood Treehouse during the ice storm FERN in January of 2026. We knew going in that there was a chance we could get stuck, but we had been planning this trip for nearly a year and didn’t want to cancel. We don’t get away very often just the two of us, and we’re so glad we didn’t.The cabin was outstanding. It was extremely clean, very well maintained, and thoughtfully stocked. The kitchen had everything we needed, including quality pots and pans and all the little essentials...
