Great room. Walking distance to Science Museum and downtown restaurants and shops. Was a little noisy in the evening with the restaurant downstairs, but quieted down by 10-11 pm. Loud noisy trash pick up in the middle of the night. You can hear people walking around in the unit above.

Les points forts : Propreté, arrivée, communication, emplacement et exactitude de l’annonce
This property is everything it advertised! I knew I had hit out of the park when my wife, who was nervous and skeptical about my surprise pick, glowed upon seeing the loft. I got to see that big, beautiful smile of hers, and I knew I did well. The loft and the building are both very beautiful, and the loft was as lovely as the pictures showed it to be. Tall, bright windows, a warm and inviting kitchen with top-shelf small appliances (we loved the tea kettle by Fellow), and a really cool music/jazzy vibe made the environment very cozy. The bed slept well and the pillows were amazing, so much so that we looked up the brand and ordered some for home that same night. We only booked a one-night stay, but the loft was a perfect getaway for a quick weekend. It was very conveniently in walking distance to 2 awesome eateries: 4 minutes to El Barrio, which had the best queso and Tres Leches cake we've ever had, and 6 minutes to The Essential, which had a fabulous brunch. We spent most of the day at the Birmingham Museum of Art (we got to see an Albert Bierstadt landscape painting and "The Sorceress" by George Merle, which was absolutely beautiful in person), and that was only a 10 minute walk from the loft. Birmingham downtown is very walkable, and we enjoyed that thoroughly. The only real complaints we had was that parking was terrible, and very expensive if you parked in a garage. I'd recommend parking where you can, then moving your car late at night when spaces are available.
