The townhouse is in a terrific location. Easy access to highway, interstate, and all areas of Birmingham. The property was clean, but the upstairs carpet should be replaced as it is badly stained in several areas. Furniture is very good with a few beautifully elegant pieces among more modern furniture. Beds were comfortable, but the air mattress had a small hole, and we couldnât find the pump. Though the listing says check out is 11 am, it is actually 10 am. There were only 4 coffee cups despite the listing claiming 5 adults can stay at the property. There were no coasters and no facial tissue provided by the host. We were nervous about sitting in the living room with coffee since no coasters were provided to protect the furniture. The cleaning team did not fully refill soap and we ran out in one bathroom. The back patio area was amazing! We enjoyed privacy from a very high (natural) rock wall & foliage that also blocked out all traffic noises. The rain made pleasing noise as it hit the natural parts of the landscaping. It was quite unexpected peacefulness. We used all the kitchen and laundry appliances during our stay, and everything worked as it should. The host was very slow to respond to messages, sometimes not responding at all. This was unexpected because typical hosts respond within 24 hrs. However, the host happily accommodated our request to check-in 3 hrs early. Overall, it was a pleasant and comfortable visit. We would stay here again.
