  • Welcome to the North woods where you will find yourself enjoying an outdoor activity or sitting next to a cozy campfire with family and friends. Beautiful home located 7 miles from Birchwood on Ol Hayes Road. You will be less than a mile from the boat landing, to access Lake Chetac. Several other lakes in the area as well. Also, ATV, UTV, and snowmobile trails are right outside your door!

    Large deck with lake views. Equipped with a gas grill.
    Fire pit, with wood and chairs provided.

Our 2nd stay in this home and was just as we remembered! Very clean, cozy, and so close to the lake and nearby restaurants. Chad was very responsive and quick to reply. Def recommend this property!

Perfect spot for our quick get away

Stayed here over Memorial Weekend. Had a great time-close to ATV trails, very peaceful, and clean. Second time staying here and will definitely be back next year.

Stayed at the VRBO for a fishing trip to Big Chetac. It is very close to the boat landing and only a few miles out of Birchwood when you need to run into town for something. The home is very nice and well stocked with everything you need. The basement bar area is a nice addition. The owner Chad is very easy to get ahold of and really cares that your stay meets your expectations. I would rent this place again and highly recommend it to anyone!

Host was great. Spent a couple of days at the cabin to fish. The host was very helpful with general information on the lake and what worked The cabin was very clean, comfortable and very warm considering the below zero temps. We will definitely stay at this property again.

House was very clean and comfortable. Nice wooded neighborhood with lots of deer. Close to Birchwood. Great deck and we appreciated the grill. Downstairs is set up well, with a bar, game table and nice sectional and great TV. Host was super nice and responded quickly to any questions. Nice to have a full sized washer and dryer

We enjoyed our stay. There's a slight view of the lake and lots of wildlife to watch. House was clean and beds were comfortable! Wish we had taken the time to enjoy the firepit. We would definitely stay here again!

Quiet and friendly neighborhood

Extremely clean hospitality with a personal touch. Quiet, full amenities, beautiful view. We relaxed by the fire pit and had conversations with the local wildlife, including a spotted deer fawn and her mommy.

Motorcycle Trip

Chad was great to work with check in was easy and the house was clean. We enjoyed evenings on the deck viewing the lake and watching the wildlife as well as campfires.
