« We had a three-generation multi-family stay and this property was great! Separate “studio”-style stay for the grandparents, and plenty of rooms for the rest! The beds were very comfortable, the property was very clean, and there were extra toys in the kids’ room which was just an added bonus for when they were done playing in the playground backyard. « Perfect family getaway! The location was within 15 minutes of everything yet away from town (downtown Monterey) so you had the quiet and peace of the suburbs. The huge yard was great for dogs and the patio with BBQ grill worked great! The host was Awesome!! They left a nice gift (which we didn’t use) but checked with us twice just to see if everything was good (which it was). Already talking about when we can stay here again. »

« The house is adorable and extremely comfortable. Both my husband and I were obsessed with the bed and the amazing wrap around porch. Everything in the house is high functioning and the view to the river is beautiful. It’s a long windy drive up and down to the house but it’s worth it. Everything about the River house makes you slow down and enjoy this beautiful part of California. »

The house itself was spotless, beautifully maintained, and wonderfully suited for kids. Everything we needed was provided, including a wonderful selection of toys and books in the kids’ room.
