Picture this: you wake up, pour your coffee and look out at Lone Peak, just across the road from Big Sky Resort. Alpenglow Townhouse sits tucked in the pines at Alpenglow Condos, so you spend more time on the mountain and less time in the car. Inside, 20-foot ceilings and big windows bring the mountain right in, and the gas fireplace is ready the minute you walk through the door.

There's room for everyone here. Three king bedrooms mean nobody draws the short straw, and the primary suite has a walk-in closet and its own bathroom with two sinks and a tiled shower. Upstairs, both kings come with a flat-screen TV and a walk-in closet, and the full-size futon in the den makes room for one more. When things get competitive, the foosball table in the game room settles the score.

After a big day outside, pull into the garage, kick off your boots at the gear lockers by the door and let the heated hardwood floors warm you back up. Cook dinner in the full kitchen while someone grabs a stool at the breakfast bar, then gather around the table for eight and swap stories from the day. Save the best seat in the house for last: the private deck, looking right out at the ski runs. This is the Big Sky trip you'll be talking about until you book the next one.

Winter
Big Sky Resort is the biggest skiing in America, and it earns that title every single year. With 5,800 skiable acres, 4,350 feet of vertical drop, and an average of 400+ inches of snowfall annually, it delivers for every level of skier and rider. When you are ready to step off the slopes, the historic Lone Mountain Ranch has 85+ kilometers of groomed Nordic trails through the wilderness, voted the #1 cross-country ski resort in North America. Beyond that, Yellowstone National Park, snowmobiling, snowshoeing, dog sledding, ice fishing, and world-class spa experiences are all within easy reach.

Summer
The mountains do not slow down when the snow melts. Within minutes you have world-class fly fishing, river rafting, golf, hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, and zip-lining at your doorstep. Follow the scenic Gallatin River along historic Highway 191 and you are at the west entrance of Yellowstone National Park in just 45 minutes. Stay long enough and you will find free concerts, farmers markets, and weekly events scattered throughout the season.

Air Conditioning:
This home does not have air conditioning, which is typical for Montana mountain properties. Evenings cool down beautifully at elevation, and opening windows at night is the best way to bring that fresh mountain air in. During the day, keeping windows and curtains closed helps hold the cool air inside. Fans are available in the bedroom closets for additional comfort. For safety, please only open windows while you are present on the property.

This home accommodates 2 vehicles, including a one-car garage. AWD is recommended during the winter months.
