« Cutest little cabin! Great location for our stay. No privacy in the bedrooms but as they’re lofts connected by a bridge, that’s to be expected. Just changed in the bathroom, no worries. Couldn’t bring our luggage up the stairs as they’re spiral and I didn’t want to damage anything, but again, clear to see in the pics. Close to our fishing trip where we caught some huge salmon! « Property consists of independent cabins so that leads to a nice and quiet environment. The unit was very clean and neat. Location was convenient and near a few restaurants and shops. The WiFi was very very slow and I had to use my phone Hotspot instead. It looks like it is shared amongst all the units and the router is probably located outside somewhere in a central spot. The ceilings are very low, I could reach up and touch it. »

« Communication and check-in went smoothly. There had been some maintenance, and the worker hadn't cleaned up, so we collected his items and swept up the mess. The toilet was not very securely fastened to the floor, making it uncomfortably unstable and no shelf in the shower as pictured for toiletries. Overall, we feel that we over paid for the quality of the pictures listed. For what we paid, we expected, and assumed from pictures listed, a more updated unit. »

« 5-stars all the way! The Sockeye cottage is amazing, beautifully decorated, stocked with all you need for an amazing stay. The grounds were beautiful & watching the ducks & loons from the huge glass windows or front deck of your little cottage was perfect! The staff were very attentive & responsive to any questions! The ability to use kayaks, paddle boards, float tubes, and even a peddle boat to adventure around the lake at your leisure were such a perfect addition. We sat around the lovely fire...

« It was such a cute place to stay and communication was good. Few things, the TV acted up and the internet did not want to connect the first night. I just wanted to get there and relax after a long day of traveling and that made me a little upset. Although, the next day, they both worked just fine. Wish there was some sort of scent or spray and some pens and paper as well. Last, bedside table would be awesome to use instead of a stool. Other than that, great stay and enjoyed the cabin. »

"Les moins : l'état de la chambre déplorable et la présence de SDF autour mais c'est un problème récurrent dans Anchorage même si moins présent à Downtown. La propreté était parfois un peu limite mais le linge était propre. La literie était assez confortable. L'emplacement bien que pas en centre-ville permet d'accéder assez facilement dès lors qu'on peut marcher 10 minutes pour rejoindre un bus. Le gros plus : la sympathie du personnel. Pour résumé, si vous cherchez juste un endroit pour passer 2 ou 3 nuits à moindre coût, si l'état de la chambre n'est pas bloquant pour vous alors vous pouvez y aller....sinon passez votre chemin. Cet hôtel dot faire parti des meilleurs prestation/prix d'Anchorage"

"Our stay was perfect! The staff – whether at reception, in the bar and restaurant, at the luggage counter or in housekeeping – were patient and understanding despite the language barrier; they were always smiling and friendly, and we left feeling truly delighted! I’m just deducting one star because the booking stated that breakfast was included, but we had to pay for every breakfast (and there was no mention on the menu of what was included or not). Thanks again to the whole team – it was truly perfect! I’ll definitely be back!"
