« The room was clean, supplied well and was perfect for gorgeous views of the sunset, stars and mountains. It had a nice fire pit but a burn ban prevented us from using it. We still used the chairs for the desert and mountain views at night. The shared kitchen was perfect for a quick breakfast. All in all, I wasn’t ready to leave when y was time to leave 10 bits! I would recommend to anyone headed to Big Bend. »

« The views are spectacular! From sunset fires, stargazing, or sunrise with coffee in hand, there’s no time of day you can’t be in awe of the vistas.The kitchen space is a great shared area. Lots of room for individual family units to store cold goods & even with rotating use of the area, no one seemed to be in any one’s way - all guests we encountered were more than happy to coordinate schedules or share stove space. »

« We visited our grandson in San Angelo. The Lone Star House was excellent. Not a single complaint. Great location, very clean, bathroom and kitchen were well stocked and great communication with owner. I would stay here again and again when we come to the area. Ty for helping us make great family memories! »
