The perfect lakefront retreat for all seasons! This home is ready for its very own Lake Living photo shoot & magazine spread! This vintage cabin has been tastefully updated with all of the bells & whistles that surpasses the rental competition in Big Bear, while keeping the original charm. You will want to jump on this cabin for your stay before someone else does.

There is direct lake access from this location with a firepit to take in some of the best lakeview on the mountain. Especially now that the dock is in the water you can park your boat and have your toys out there! This home has three stories of living with a lake club level. There are two roll-up garage doors leading to a large back yard and grass area that will make memories for years to come. The lake level has a bar, refrigerator, shuffleboard, ping pong and plenty of play areas for the whole family.

The main entry level offers a cozy setting near the fireplace, owner's suite & kitchen. The owner's suite has an amazing soaking tub for that ultimate state of relaxation. Downstairs game room leads to an expansive deck with multiple lounges and outdoor seating & jacuzzi. There are 3 additional bedrooms upstairs with one room with 4 beds! This home offers that mountain charm with all of the upgrades you need to meet and exceed your expectations.

Smoking it is prohibited in any area of this home, inside or outside for medical reasons and same applies to pets. Please be respectful about it. Failure to comply with this might result in fines up to $2000 and evictions.

The same way you are expecting us to answer all your questions, concerns and help you out with any issue you might have in a timely manner, we are expecting you to be respectful of the home and the rules. Most of these rules are enforced by city officers since they follow a code or regulation at a city level, some are just to keep the homes as perfect as we possibly can, believe me when I say, all I care is for my guests to have an amazing experience and for my owners to love our services, but for that, rules need to be respected on both sides.

- Remote check in after identity verification!
- Parking at homes is enforced by city officers, no more cars than allowed please, if so, let us know and we will figure something out for you.
- Max occupancy at the homes is enforced by us and the city, you cannot have more people than allowed, at any given time, please do not lie to us, that would just make it harder for you in the end.
- You must be respectful with neighbors, if you have music going on, it needs to be inside the home as low as you can talk with your family and friends without raising your voice, think no one should hear the music from the outside. Quiet hours are from 2100 until 0800.
- Most houses in Big Bear Lake do not have a/c, be aware of this, summer can be hot but at night with some windows open it gets super nice.
- Ants, our super friendly ants are an issue, not a cleaning problem, they are just around. If you leave food over the counter tops, table or sugar, you will have ants soon enough, you have to clean after each meal, not just for good practice, but to avoid them, we put traps, spray and all, but the little ones are fast and don't care about it.
- Taking the trash to the clean site is a city regulation, not mine. but if you have issues doing it, we can offer you a service who will charge you to do it for you, let us know.
- You must be at least 24 years old to book any of our homes. We are a family-oriented company and we do not allow parties at all. The city will enforce this heavily and so do we.
- You'll need to sign a Rental Agreement with the Big Bear Good Neighbor Policy (5 minutes). The link with the rental agreement will be sent once the booking is confirmed. It needs to be completed and signed before checking-in. To confirm and maintain your reservation, our Rental Agreement must be completed within 24 hours of booking. Failure to complete the agreement within this timeframe may result in cancellation without refund if the cancellation window has passed.
Please note:
Our standard cancellation policy applies from the moment the reservation is confirmed, not from when the rental agreement is completed. By booking, you agree to complete all required documentation within the given timeframe and to be bound by the cancellation terms.
- Disclosure: This home does not have AC. It has a mini split on the bottom floor.

We had a wonderful time in this beautiful cabin on the lake. We will definitely go back. The house was well maintained. We had everything we needed and the communication with the host was timely and informative. Would highly recommend.

We loved the house! The house is Fully stocked with everything you need inside. Location was great too 
 close enough to down town, attractions, but far enough away to feel secluded when you’re at the house. The property is well maintained and everything is as advertised in the listing. House is charming with modern updates like AC in the upstairs bedrooms and a fun game room and a hot tub which we enjoyed. We enjoyed the town and all of the fun stuff for kids and families to do. We had a great trip! For the price, It would have been nice to have out door games, kayaks, canoe, fishing poles, or something to do while outside. If you’re not enjoying the inside of the home
 you need to bring your own outdoor activities. Also just a note about traveling to Big Bear 
.Do your research about the lake if you have expectations of swimming. We were unaware of the algae, low lake levels, and of the Big Bear municipality’s lake/swimming rules and regulations which changed most of our trip. We booked this house thinking we would be able to enjoy being in the lake with our kids. We had envisioned the kids playing on the shore in the water and swimming in the lake. We couldn’t do this because of the algae and low lake levels. We wish we would have researched this more. According to many people in BB, at this time of the year, it’s hard to find a place to safely swim because of the lake levels
.. We ended up renting a boat from the marina one day but couldn’t dock it at the house (per the marina) and also couldn’t swim off the boats. Swimming is only permitted a short distance off of beaches and docks per BB municipality. We drove around checking out many beaches and swimming areas and they were not an option. We were really disappointed that we didn’t know this before we traveled
. if you have swimming in mind and the levels are low
 we just suggest researching this first. We spent most of our days away from the house doing other activities. Again, overall the house is great and the listing is accurate and as advertised!

The property is as advertised - absolutely stunning, lakefront, equipped with everything you could need. The property management company was very easy to work with, kind and welcoming and made last minute arrangements for a late check in after we had car trouble. We had one incident where the owner of the home was using the nest cameras to keep tabs on us. We received a phone call that the owner had complained about something that had not occurred. Not the property management company’s fault but completely ruined everyone’s night and made us very uncomfortable in the home. Overall had a great stay but will not be returning due to the violation of privacy. We would love to rent other properties under SoCal Vacations in the future, just not this one thanks to the owner.

The property was amazing as advertised. Views of the lake and the mountains, fully stocked with everything we needed, property management were quick to respond to any questions. The bes part for our group was how perfect the house is for families with kids. We had 3 kids under 3 and they had so much fun. Tons of toys to play with, area to run around where they were safe, and when it was time for them to go to bed, there was plenty of separation so the adults could still hangout without waking the kids. Loved the place, would absolutely book again.
