The location makes ski days wonderfully easy. Walk to the lifts in the morning, then pop home between runs for lunch or a hot-cocoa warmup instead of paying resort prices. At the end of the day, trade the crowded slope-side bars for your own après cocktails beside the fireplace or around the private outdoor fire pit.



Warm wood ceilings, bold mountain artwork, colorful vintage-inspired details, and an unmistakable après-ski spirit give this home a personality all its own. Spin a record from the vinyl collection, settle in beside the white-painted brick fireplace, or head upstairs to take in views of the Snow Summit slopes from the primary bedroom.



With two king bedrooms, a fun bunk room, two bathrooms, private parking, and space for up to six guests, Summit Après is an inviting home base for ski trips, summer adventures, family getaways, and mountain weekends with your pets.



The Space:

Summit Après blends classic ski-lodge character with a fun, retro-inspired mountain style. Natural wood ceilings, dark exposed beams, vintage ski artwork, and warm olive and burnt-orange accents create a space that feels cheerful, comfortable, and refreshingly different from the typical mountain cabin.



Living Room

The open living room is designed for relaxing together after a day in the mountains. A white-painted brick fireplace anchors the room, while comfortable seating, mountain-inspired artwork, and large sliding glass doors create a bright and welcoming atmosphere.



One of the home’s most enjoyable features is its record player and collection of vinyl records. Choose an album, settle in beside the fireplace, and create your own perfect après-ski soundtrack.



The sliding glass doors open directly onto the private patio and enclosed yard, making it easy to move between the indoor and outdoor gathering spaces.



Kitchen and Dining

The full kitchen includes a gas range, stainless-steel refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, cookware, dishes, and the essentials needed to prepare meals during your stay.



With Snow Summit only a two-minute walk away, the kitchen is close enough for an easy midday lunch break before heading back to the slopes. The adjoining dining area sits beneath the wood-beamed ceiling and offers a comfortable place for group meals, morning coffee, hot cocoa, or family game nights.



Bedrooms

Upstairs primary bedroom: King bed, vaulted wood ceiling, exposed beams, ceiling fan, comfortable sitting area, television, and sliding glass doors leading to the private deck. From upstairs, enjoy views toward the Snow Summit slopes—a special reminder of just how close you are to the mountain.



Second bedroom: King bed, warm lighting, comfortable bedding, and a peaceful mountain setting.



Bunk room: Custom bunk beds create a fun sleeping space for children or additional guests.



Bathrooms

Summit Après has two full bathrooms—one with a bathtub and shower and another with a glass-enclosed walk-in shower. Fresh towels and bathroom essentials are provided.



Laundry

A private in-unit washer and dryer are available for guest use.



Private Outdoor Spaces

The fully enclosed yard, patio, and fire pit are private and reserved exclusively for guests of Summit Après. Gather around the fire pit for conversation beneath the pines, enjoy the patio during warmer weather, or give your pets some outdoor space. The primary bedroom also opens onto its own private deck.



Summit Après is part of a two-unit property, but each home has its own entrance, parking, yard, patio, and outdoor amenities. No guest spaces or outdoor areas are shared.



Guest Access:

You will receive your access code on the day of your arrival at check-in time after completing your virtual check-in



The Neighborhood:

Summit Aprés sits directly on Summit Boulevard—the same road that leads straight to Snow Summit Resort.



The lifts are just a three-minute walk from the cabin, making it easy to avoid resort traffic and parking. Walk to the mountain in the morning, return to the cabin for lunch or a warm break, and head back out whenever you’re ready.



During the warmer months, the same convenient location provides easy access to Snow Summit’s mountain-bike park, scenic chairlift, and nearby hiking trails. The Village, grocery stores, lake activities, restaurants, and Big Bear’s other attractions are generally within a 5–10-minute drive.



Getting Around:

On foot: Snow Summit Resort is a three-minute walk straight down Summit Boulevard. Leave your vehicle at the cabin and walk to the lifts in winter or resort activities during the warmer months.



By car: The cabin provides parking for up to two vehicles. Street parking is not permitted. Most other Big Bear Lake destinations are approximately 5–10 minutes away by car.



Winter travel: Mountain weather and road conditions can change quickly. Caltrans may require tire chains or four-wheel/all-wheel drive during winter storms. Guests should check current conditions and carry chains when required.
