I am writing to express my disappointment with our recent two-night stay at your Big Bear property.
First, although the check-in time was listed as 4:00 PM, the house was not ready when we arrived. Because it was raining, we had to wait in the car with my two little boys. This was very uncomfortable and frustrating, especially after a long drive.
Second, we did not have internet or TV service for most of our stay. Even though a technician came to help, the issue was not resolved until the next day at around 8:00 PM. During this time, my children were very sad and upset because they had no internet to play and no TV, which greatly affected their enjoyment of the trip.
Another serious concern was safety. The stairs did not have any lighting. Walking up and down the stairs at night with no lights was dangerous and unacceptable.
In addition, the bunk bed mattress had a stain of blood on it. Because of this, my child could not sleep in the bed, which caused a lot of distress and disappointment. This was very upsetting and completely unacceptable from a cleanliness and hygiene standpoint.
Overall, this stay did not meet our expectations. I hope you take this feedback seriously and address these issues to improve the experience for future guests.
