The Space:

This 665 sq ft cabin is all on one level. The open kitchen and living area has a kitchen island, dishes and cookware, and a wood-burning stove with a safety screen. There are two bedrooms, one with a queen bed and one with a full bed, both with fresh linens, plus extra pillows and blankets.

The bathroom has a tub and shower, towels, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and a hair dryer. There is a washer and dryer, books, and board games for downtime.

Outside, enjoy a fenced backyard and spacious deck with a gas grill, ping pong table, hammock, and horseshoe pit. The deck also features outdoor gym equipment, perfect for getting in a workout while enjoying the fresh mountain air and peaceful surroundings.

The cabin has air conditioning for warmer months and is heated by a floor furnace and wood-burning stove.



Guest Access:

Guests have private access to the entire cabin and spacious fenced yard, allowing you to enjoy your mountain getaway at your own pace. On-site parking is available for your convenience in designated areas only, as street parking is strictly prohibited. While Big Bear City is best explored by car, the property is located within a short drive of local transit stops. For those flying in, the Ontario International Airport is approximately a two-hour drive away. Please ensure you plan your travel accordingly to reach this mountain retreat.



The Neighborhood:

Nestled on a peaceful residential street in Big Bear City, this charming home offers the perfect mountain escape on the east side of the valley. You are ideally positioned to enjoy the best of the region, with the sparkling waters of Big Bear Lake just a short drive away. Outdoor enthusiasts will love the proximity to skiing and snowboarding at Bear Mountain and Snow Summit, both reachable in about 10 to 15 minutes. For those who prefer hiking or mountain biking, the scenic trails of the San Bernardino National Forest are practically at your doorstep. After a day of adventure, head into the Village, located about 10 minutes away, to explore a variety of local shops, cozy cafes, and delicious dining options.



Getting Around:

For the most convenient mountain experience, we highly recommend traveling to our cabin by car. While Big Bear City offers access to local Mountain Transit bus stops, having your own vehicle provides the most flexibility for exploring the lake, ski resorts, and village shops. On-site parking is available for your convenience in the designated driveway area, and please note that street parking is strictly prohibited in the neighborhood. If you are flying in, the Ontario International Airport is the nearest major hub, located approximately a two hour drive from the cabin.



Other Things to Note:

This home is a permitted short-term rental in unincorporated San Bernardino County, with a maximum of 4 overnight guests. Quiet hours are 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM. Charcoal and wood grills and outdoor fires are not allowed, so please use the propane grill only. Trash goes in the locking animal-proof bins. You will be asked to acknowledge the County rules before check-in.
