« Stephen was a wonderful host showing us our room on arrival and explaining arrangements there. Room 3 was extremely well appointed with our own entrance and outdoor space. The small kitchen area included a microwave great for a cosy meal in. The continental breakfast was amazing and really set you up for the day. Set in quiet countryside outside Bideford with easy access to local attractions and exploring the countryside. A really relaxing break for us and would definitely recommend staying...

Every member of staff we met were warm and friendly and the cooked breakfast was superb. Appledore is such a lovely destination and a stay at the Royal George makes it all the more special. « Small, one of multiple units in redeveloped farm buildings sharing A common entrance and parking space. The cottage is well furnished and comfortable. The stairs are very steep and the bath is not convenient or safe for older visitors. The area is lovely especially The Farmers Arms and fish and chip shop at Woolsery. »
