With beach access mere minutes from home base and many attractions in town, there will be no delay in filling each day with activities that the whole gang can enjoy. In addition to the beach, there are a variety of fun activities in the surrounding area, including miniature golf, go-carts, kayak/SUP rentals, shopping, and more. Check out the Bethany Beach boardwalk for live music and evening movies in the summertime. There is ample room to spread out while relaxing at home base, and everyone can find their slice of paradise. The first level has an interior shower to clean off any lingering sunscreen from a day at the beach. The home's mid-level will be the hub for entertaining with a fantastic living area complete with vaulted ceilings, plenty of natural light, plentiful furnishings, and a TV to stream favorite shows at the end of an exciting day. The full kitchen has everything you need to prepare tasty recipes, including a spacious island, modern appliances, bar seating, and ample cookware. Plus, everyone can take their pick of gathering at the formal dining table or heading out to the screened porch to dine alfresco on warm summer evenings. The screened porch and open deck are also great for morning coffee, where a canal view awaits. There is even more room to spread out on the third floor with a loft/TV area and deck with a table and chairs. The third floor also has a desk in case a workspace is needed. And the house is equipped with games, puzzles, books, and high-speed internet to keep everyone entertained. Excellent getaway home!

Large, clean, beautiful home in a quiet neighborhood. I would guess about one mile from the beach but can still hear the waves at night. Very comfortable and safe with nice walking trails. Truly enjoyed it.

We had a great stay! Beds were comfortable and exactly what we expected. All bedding and towels for bathroom were provided. The neighborhood was quiet and tucked back from the main roads. Loved the outside space and how family friendly the house was.

This home was perfect for our getaway. Plenty of space to spread out, outdoor decks, screened porch, space under home to keep outdoor equipment dry. Love the neighborhood, great for walking, fishing, crabbing, biking. Easy to reserve, check in was a breeze. This will stay on our return list!

Beautiful Vacation Home

We had a fantastic stay at this home. The house was perfect for our family which included 5 adults, 2 kids & a dog. It truly felt like home, with plenty of space for everyone to relax. The deck and screened in porch were perfect places to begin each morning. The kids loved the swings, and we appreciated the pet-friendly amenities. The location was great, close to local attractions but still quiet and peaceful. We had everything we needed and more to have an amazing beach vacation. We can’t wait to come back!

South Bethany Favorite

This was a great place to stay. We loved being in South Bethany. The beach was never crowded. Parking was easy with the provided guest passes. The neighborhood was very nice to go for a walk in. We especially loved the shade from all the mature trees. The kitchen, dining room, family room and the screened in porch were roomy and nice socializing spaces. We enjoyed our time and would go back. Perfect for a girls trip!

Home away from home

The house was very comfortable and we appreciated having access to some extra things like salt and pepper, beach chairs, books to read on the beach. It feels so such more homey and welcoming to have a kitchen full of working pots, pans, baking sheets, and knives. We love to stay at homes that are clearly stocked by the owners. We have stayed in South Bethany many times and the location (with the parking pass) is perfect for our family. We would be happy to stay at this home again.

Great Space & Location, but…

Location and space were great, but the cleaning service did not do a very good job before check in. Dirty sheets in the master, hair and crumbs on the couch and some sort of food splatter on kitchen ceiling. Storm door fell in when we first checked in as well. If the house was a little cleaner it would have been five stars. Overall very nice house.

Please please please do a better job cleaning and get a new couch that has cushions for the living room. I would've enjoyed my stay if I wasn't doing house work *washing bathroom rugs, wiping down surfaces, counters, remotes, door knobs, folding linens left in the dryer....

Lovely weekend

Decided to get away for the Thanksgiving weekend. The house was well-appointed for a relaxing holiday. Bedroom layout for 4 adults, 3 kids and a dog worked well. Kids had the loft upstairs to hang out. The kitchen was well-stocked with cookware. Beds were comfortable and the house was cleaned very well upon arrival. All communication with Vacasa was prompt, friendly and helpful. The Cat Hill neighborhood is beautiful. Loved walking down the road along the marsh preserve. The public beach access was a quick 10 minute drive. Love the little beach town of Bethany!

Loved the neighborhood

Loved the neighborhood, nice place to walk, ride bikes and such. The house was not clean at all. We spent day 1 cleaning. My infant crawls and within 5 min. His feet were black.

Vacasa property management is terrible

We had several issues with maintenance and cleanliness. Communicating with Vacasa to get these resolved was frustrating, time consuming speaking with their agents in India! Not what I wanted to be doing on my vacation. One of the issues was with a shower door latch which caused water to leak on bathroom floor and my elderly father fell. He was scraped up and bruised - thankfully no worse. It still took a week to get this fixed! I will NEVER stay in a property managed by Vacasa. The property and location were nice.
