« The employee who was working in the breakfast area was very attentive. She noticed that I was packing my oatmeal to go because I’m diabetic and can only eat at certain times; So she quickly provided me with what I needed without even asking her. »

« Out dated rooms. Carpet was dirty. Breakfast was very basic. Tried to cancel after the first night and manager advised they had a 4 night minimum and didn’t offer anything. Air conditioner in the room broke last night we stayed there. They again didn’t offer anything to resolve this issue. Advised us to just leave it turned off and it would work again. It never did! Poor experience. »

« Ok Where to begin. The room was great,the bed was comfy and the bathroom was clean. However: the place in general was gross. The smell of water damage was present and there was only 1 elevator for the entire North tower. One guy said they are there every year and it has been like that for 3 years now. The elevator was smelly and kinda scary. I believe it used to be the service elevator. There was mold on the walls in the laundry room,there were panels of sheetrock missing and the new Sheetrock...

« This is my preferred hotel in Topeka. The rooms and hotel property are consistently clean, the staff are friendly and helpful and the nearby restaurant options are pretty good. »

« Decent place, the staff was very polite and professional. I did not have the AM buffet so I cannot comment on that. My room could use a refresh, some fresh paint, shampoo the carpet, etc. The room was NOT dirty, just needs a little TLC. I would stay there again »

« We had to change rooms because our suite wasduety. The pull out bed was stained brown. There was hair all over the carpet. We had to get another room but we had to switch to a queen bed room, which wasn't clean but better than the first one. Plus didnt get a discount or anything for the difference in prices. The lady behind the counter just said there is nothing she can do. So I paid for a king bed suite and stayed in a 2 queen bed room. »

« End of May, 2 day visit. Room was clean and spacious. Staff was accommodative. Breakfast was more than adequate. TV access and usability was the best I have experienced in a 2nd tier motel: a very appreciated feature. The outdoor presentation is unfortunately very unimpressive -enough to turn many away, I would guess. Too bad. It was well worth the cost and a walkable distance to the KU campus. »

« I don't understand the average review rate... My room was strongly smelling cigarette even if it is supposed to be non-smoking room and it was not that clean. At the breakfast there were no more eggs and regular coffee. The only employee I saw seemed too busy to take care of all these details. The AC was so so. I understand it's under renovations but they don't even seem to try to make up for that. On the positive side it was quiet until about 7:30 when the construction workers started. ...

« Everything was terrible about our stay there. It was Dirty. It had a kicked in door. It had mold on the ceiling and mold on the shower curtain. It was damp. It had a broken TV. I would not recommend anybody staying at this facility. »
