We had three kids and five adults but with all the beds, basement space and foldout couches, it could have easily slept 13. More if you bring an air mattress. This was perfect for our overnight stay for a family wedding. The host was very responsive to all my pestering messages. »

« Hosts were great, helpful and responsive. The Home is amazingly historic and so certainly has its limits, but it should not mean it cannot be warm and comfortable with decor and furnishings. There is no HVAC upstairs so space heaters were fussy to maintain and keep on with timers, etc. There is only two lamps in the home, so all rooms rely on ceiling fan lights - which are effective but do not allow a more relaxed evening or early morning atmosphere.
