The Space:
Nykirke Allmenningen is only a 4-minute walk from Gågaten, Bergen’s oldest pedestrian street, filled with history and charm. Here, you’ll find around 50 shops, restaurants, and experiences. Stretching 400 meters, the street is part of the old Strandgaten, rebuilt after the 1916 city fire and transformed into a pedestrian street in 1971.
From the apartment, you can also enjoy a view of Nykirken, the youngest of Bergen’s historic parish churches, first built in 1621.
The apartment is also very close to Nordnesparken, one of Bergen’s most beautiful and largest parks. This park extends along the edge of Nordnes Point, offering stunning views over Byfjorden. You’ll also find Nordnes Sjøbad here, a 25-meter outdoor heated saltwater pool, usually open to the public from mid-May through the end of August. The pool is beautifully located on the park’s western tip.
The Bergen Aquarium is also nearby, Norway’s largest aquarium and one of Bergen’s top tourist attractions.
