« We enjoyed the fireplace every morning and evening. The kids loved the loft..their own space to play. Kitchen is equipped with everything we needed to put full meals on the table every night. And we used the fire pit twice for s’mores and family stories. Can’t wait to return! »

« 64 years old and stayed by myself in this Cottage. I felt safe and comfortable enough to go outside and take pictures of the night sky. I also went on adventures of nearby Creeks to look for beautiful rocks. Although Luray Caverns was only 5 Mi away I did not come here to visit the caverns. It was a nice Mountain getaway with beautiful scenic views on my drive there and back. Not just the cottage was a beautiful reminder of my grandmother's home, but a beautiful location to catch misty mornings,...

« We were in town for a family wedding at Shenandoah National Park and had an absolutely wonderful time. The Blue Pearl was nicely appointed, and the beds were very comfortable. Jason gave us all the information we needed and replied promptly to any questions we had. The town of Luray is very nice; we had time to check out the town a bit and see the Luray Caverns which were amazing! »

« We absolutely loved the charm of Anne's Retreat and how welcome we felt. The amenities were great and the kitchen was extremely well stocked with cooking equipment. We especially enjoyed the porch and rocking chairs (and cats)! We primarily chose it for proximity to the park but as there was so much to experience in the area, we would gladly stay there again. »

Strasburg and Front Royal are very close, so plenty of food options and all the shopping you could need within 15 minutes of the cottage.The cottage itself was clean and comfortable. « We were looking for a place within a short distance to the Inn and found this gem. The property was spotless and comfortable. It would have been an ideal base for a trip to Shenandoah had that been part of our itinerary. It's just a short walk to the Inn. The house was a welcome destination after the meal and wine. »
