« The house was beautiful, clean, and well-stocked with everything we needed. The host replied quickly to any questions we had. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals for our group of 10 and there were plenty of paper supplies throughout the house. We had plenty of room to enjoy meals and family time together and yet still get some quiet time if we wanted it. The hot tub was delightful and the back yard was peaceful. We would definitely stay here again on our next trip to Galena! »

« The house was very clean and comfortable. I loved the sliders to the deck. We had a wonderful view of the lake and we could see all the birds easily from the kitchen. The only suggestion I have is that either a sliding screen door is added or a screen that fits in the door frame. That way, you can keep the door open without letting bugs in. « The host was very accommodating to us and we appreciate his kindness very much. The house has lovely big rooms. We did feel that the heating system was not well-balanced (upstairs was very warm, main floor was cool, and lower level was unusable because of the cold. Various other things need attention: loose door knob, “singing” toilets, non-functioning RO system. But none of that kept us from having a great time. »
