  • Villa María is a magnificent neoclassical residence located on the beautiful Mediterranean beachfront of Benicàsim, Spain. Constructed in 1925, this villa is a standout example of the Belle Époque architecture that defines the area, often referred to as the "Valencian Biarritz." Its elegant façade features a central tower with a four-sided pitched roof, ornamental arches, and sculptural details, all set within a lush garden adorned with a pergola with outdoor kitchen and BBQ, heated swimming pool, hot-tub, as well as a sports court for pickleball and basketball. The property spans over 2,000 square meters with 45 meters of beachfront. A quiver of kayaks, paddleboards, boogie boards, and surf boards awaits you.

    Inside, Villa María boasts four levels with a total area of around 850 square meters. The interior comprises spacious living areas, a dining room, a fully equipped kitchen, gameroom, gym/yoga room, office, several terraces, and six bedrooms. A central skylight bathes the home in natural light, enhancing its airy ambiance. In 2025, a three year, meticulous restoration was completed that preserves its historic charm while incorporating modern touches.

    Villa María is part of Benicàsim's renowned Route of the Villas, a collection of early 20th-century homes that reflect the town's rich cultural heritage. Its prime location offers direct access to the Mediterranean Sea, making it an ideal retreat for those seeking a blend of historical elegance and coastal luxury.

Villa Maria was perfect for our family. It has the feel of a small private hotel, but with the advantage of having the entire place to yourselves.What we loved most was that everyone had plenty of space, while the house still naturally brought us together. We spent a lot of time around the pool, eating together, going back and forth to the beach, and just enjoying the house. It made a family trip with different ages and interests feel very easy.The villa itself is beautiful, comfortable and extremely well equipped, and the location right by the beach is hard to beat. Benicàssim is also a great place to spend the summer, with plenty nearby when you do want to go out.For us, the best part was simply having such a great place for the whole family to be together. It was a genuinely special stay and we would happily return.

As advertised, Villa Maria is absolutely spectacular! The experience exceeded our expectations. Two families of friends shared the space and we took full advantage of the amenities—from BBQing in the outdoor kitchen and hanging in the hot tub to a movie night in the cinema room and rounds of billiards and ping-pong.The location is perfect; our daily walks on the beach and boardwalk were incredibly energizing, and we loved the local dining scene around the town. However, our favorite meal was the local paella cooked by the concierge, John. He was a total gem—as a longtime local, his recommendations were spot on. It was a wonderful experience and we’ve already decided to come back next year - muy bien!

Villa Maria is a spectacular property! Our family of ten (six adults and four children under 5 years old) spent 8 days here and none of us wanted to leave. The private gate opens onto the most beautiful sandy beach with the warmest water we’ve ever experienced. Our four grandchildren spent part of every day playing on the beach and the rest of the time at the amazing pool and hot tub at the villa. The villa itself is a five-star property. It’s absolutely spectacular!! No detail has been overlooked. The kitchen is a chef’s dream with high end appliances and lots of seating for casual meals. We ate most of our meals at the outdoor kitchen table by the pool, with an incredible view of the property. The bedrooms and bathrooms are beautifully appointed and completely updated with electronic shutters and lots of closets and drawers to store everything. The gym and theatre room were a wonderful addition to the already incredible space. Finally - I can’t say enough about the owner John and his house managers John and Flo. All three of them were wonderful to work with and very responsive to all of our communications - through booking the villa right up until our check out. John and Flo became like family to us and we especially loved the paella dinner that John prepared and Flo served during our stay. I highly recommend arranging this dinner to anyone staying at the Villa. This was a truly memorable vacation and we can’t wait to come back!!
