Utterly Pathetic Service – Misleading, Irresponsible, and Untrustworthy
Sarovar Portico delivered one of the worst hotel experiences I have ever encountered. This hotel cannot be trusted and operates with zero accountability.
Before booking, I clearly called the hotel to confirm early check-in. Your staff explicitly promised early check-in for an additional INR 1,500. Based on this assurance, I proceeded with the booking. This was not a misunderstanding — it was a clear commitment made by your team.
Yet when my friend arrived at 3:00 AM after a grueling 15-hour flight, the hotel suddenly claimed “no availability” and bluntly refused early check-in. This is either gross incompetence or deliberate misinformation — both equally unacceptable. If early check-in was not guaranteed, your staff had a responsibility to say so. Had you been honest, I would have simply booked two nights and avoided this nightmare.
Instead, because of your false assurances, an exhausted traveler was left stranded in the middle of the night and forced to hunt for another hotel at odd hours, paying again out of pocket. This is beyond poor service — it is irresponsible and disgraceful hospitality.
To make matters worse, when I requested cancellation or refund due to your failure to honor what was promised, the hotel arrogantly refused any refund, as if misleading a customer carries no consequences. There was no apology, no accountability, and no empathy.
