Ponderosa Vista is located within the desirable Mount Bachelor Village Resort, where the onsite amenities are virtually endless. The nature trail takes you along 2 miles of pristine wilderness, brimming with wildlife and breathtaking scenery and sharing a section with the Deschutes River Trail, taking you to this iconic river for fishing or floating. Looking to catch a few rays or just rest and relax? The resort has an outdoor seasonal pool. A playground, park areas, game room, athletic club, and full-service restaurant are just a few additional amenities to mention, but there’s so much more here for you to explore on your own.



If you find yourself wanting to venture away from the resort, you’ll be within just a few miles to downtown Bend and the Old Mill District, featuring plentiful options for shopping and dining along the river. Mount Bachelor Ski Resort is a short 20-minute drive away, the largest ski resort in Oregon and a sought-after destination from snow enthusiasts from all over. The Wanoga Sno-Park is 15 minutes from the home, offering miles of ski, snowshoe, and walking trails. This area doesn’t just come alive in the winter months, however. Widgi Creek Golf Course is 5 minutes away offering challenging fairways for all skill levels surrounded by vibrant scenery.

This home comfortably sleeps 4 guests between a private bedroom and queen size sleeper sofa in the living room. The bedroom includes a luxurious king size bed fitted with crisp linens and soft blankets for a great night’s sleep, along with a smart TV. The full bathroom includes a single vanity and walk-in shower.

• Please note that AWD or 4WD is required during winter months.

• Lot parking available for 2 vehicles.

• This unit is located on the bottom floor, with stairs required to go down to the unit.

• Mount Bachelor Village Resort Pool accessible for guests. (Please return keycard that belongs to the unit).

Bend, Oregon is famous for its outdoor activities and beautiful scenery. Bend is also great for family-friendly activities like boating on Cascade Lakes or watching raptors at the High Desert Museum.



West of Bend are the lakes and peaks of the Cascade Mountains, with ski resorts and multi-use trails. In town, a trail leads up Pilot Butte, an extinct volcano. South, the High Desert Museum showcases the local environment, with history and live wildlife exhibits. In the Newberry National Volcanic Monument, stairs lead into the Lava River Cave, a huge lava tube.
