« We stayed at Terry's house for a portion of our trip. The location was a ways up the hill which was perfect for us. The neighborhood was clean and quiet and the views were fantastic. After exploring the area during the day it was refreshing to comeback and watch the sunset from the pool. »

« The house was a good location for us as home base while exploring from Dangriga to Placencia and beyond. We really enjoyed the breeze in the evenings on the veranda and the early mornings on the roof top. Beds were comfortable and air conditioning in the bedrooms a life saver. It was a comfortable house. The only downside was the four sets of multiple keys, especially at check-in when we were unfamiliar with everything. Seems like a small thing, but it was a challenge to navigate in the heat. »

« Overall a very nice place to stay with family. Quiet neighborhood, away from hustle and bustle of down town. The kitchen has everything you could need, and the patio/pool was a plus. The beds are all very hard, so not great for someone with a bad back. The only real negative was the workers next door that were using the outdoor tap from the property for whatever they were doing. « The home was well set up for family's with games and great kitchen and Living room space. However there was only one air conditioning unit in the master bedroom, this cooled that room only. Mattresses in the two additional rooms were so thin you touched the frame when you sat down. We visited in the cool, wet season, 80’s, and the home was very very hot. If you’re tolerant of the heat you will be fine. Quiet neighborhood. Beautiful views. »

« We had a wonderful stay at the Mahogany Hall. They were so friendly and accommodating. The food was absolutely delicious. They made sure that we were able to eat before our tours in the morning and even prepared our dinner a little early on the day of our arrival because we had not eaten. Cant say enough, it was so wonderful. »

« This is an amazing property just outside of town, but you feel like you're in the midst of a tropical forest complete with many different birds and howling monkeys. David and Jon are excellent hosts and made finding the estate easy. The town itself is just minutes away as well as Cahal Pech. The hills are a bit steep, but we had no trouble in our Toyota Rav4. »

« Gorgeous location right on the beach. Cabana was very clean and tidy. Zero issues with critters of any kind. We visited the week of some of the hottest temps on record (last week of March) and were nervous about the lack of AC. The ocean breezes and ceiling fans worked great for keeping us cool. « We had seen this property when we were in Hopkins about 5 years ago and knew it was the place we wanted to stay at when we came back to Belize. « Beautiful house on a beautiful beach and lovely staff. Easy access to daily activities, or just lay on the beach. Hopkins is full of friendly people and make the tourists feel welcomed. Excellent way to celebrate a big birthday with family. »

« Whats not to like? The sand beach is right out the door and the beach goes out what seems like forever. A great home base to explore out of. Hiking at Mayflower Bocawina National Park to the waterfalls is not to be missed. Had a manatee surface kayaking the mangroves just to the north. A well appointed kitchen and great resturants nearby (dont miss Ella's and Maxim and Luba Laruga). A most responsive host for sure! All in all a wonderful stay! »

« Way better than expected! Our family of 11 stayed a week, immersed in the culture of Hopkins, the people, the food, the beach, the breeze! The cabanas were clean and comfortable with everything we needed, The property manager attentive to our needs and request. Just happened to be there for the Mango Festival, oh what fun!
