Sunny Blue sits above Lummi Bay on Bellingham`s northwest side, where a wall of windows in the great room frames sunset views out over the water to Canada`s Gulf Islands in the distance. Across the lawn stairs lead straight down to the beach. Three bedrooms sleep six, with plenty of room to spread out and still gather back together by evening.
The great room is the heart of the house, with those same windows opening onto miles of water and the Gulf Islands beyond. Build a fire in the wood fireplace on a cool night and let the group settle in around it. The dining table seats everyone for a real dinner, with plenty of room for the conversation to run long after the plates are cleared.
Upstairs, the whole floor is the primary suite. Wake up to views across the water, step onto the private deck with coffee, and close the door on the office when it`s time to work for an hour. Two walk-in closets mean everyone can unpack and settle in properly. On the main floor, a second king bedroom sits off the hallway with direct access to the main bathroom. There’s a window seat to the view as well, so curl up with a book and a warm beverage - just what a vacation is all about! The bunk room is where the kids will claim their space, complete with a window seat and a TV for movie night.
Outside, the multi-level patio holds the barbecue and enough seating for the whole group, with the lawn running out to the stairs down to the beach. There’s plenty of room out there to enjoy the view, play a game on the lawn, or come and go down to the beach. When the evening cools off, relax in the hot tub, tucked out of view from the neighbors.
The garage doubles as the group`s rainy-day room: shoot hoops, volley at the ping pong table, or hop on the Peloton for a free-pedal ride (no subscription, so it`s pedaling only, no classes). The kayaks and life jackets live here too, ready to carry down to the beach the next clear morning. An EV charger in the garage keeps the car ready for the road.

Sunny Blue sits on Lummi Bay in northwest Bellingham — about a 5-minute drive to the Lummi Island mainland ferry dock, and about 25 minutes to downtown Bellingham.

We take care of cleaning and prep before you arrive, so you can walk in and settle in. During your stay we`re available for questions about the house or the area. Checkout is simple: run the dishwasher, lock up, and take out the trash if it needs it.
Guests can add grocery stocking, housekeeping, or a personal chef through PNW Concierge, as separate add-ons.
