Fore Seasons Lodge At Cedar River

For your next family or group outing, look no further than this luxurious Bellaire retreat located in Shanty Creek Resort/Cedar River Village and near attractions like Schuss Mountain and Torch Lake. At this 6-bedroom, 3.5-bath vacation rental, you’ll have access to at-home comforts, and amenities including on-site golf courses, community heated indoor pool and outdoor pools and hot tubs, and chair lifts that are within a half-mile. After a fun day, dine at several restaurants or head back home to warm up around the fire.
A $500 refundable security deposit is required for all guests. If no issues during or upon departure, its is refunded.

Golf trip with friends

Fantastic house with everything you need! Did a golf trip with a large group of friends and it went as smooth as could be, not a single issue with the house. Correspondence with the property manager was easy and fast replies. Location is perfect to access everything the resort has to offer as well as being within a quick drive to Torch Lake. Highly suggest!

Family Winter Weekend

Your Lodge has just enough room for us...everyone had some "space" of their own and space for together time.Beautiful View....the snow was perfect for our skiers, snowmobilers, and snow angel makers. Thank you !

Great House, but Needs Work

We love the house and the house and the view. It was the perfect size for our large family, but there were definite negatives. First of all, there were dead flies in the master bathroom and kitchen. The bathroom on the main floor's toilet did not work properly. It would not flush properly even though we tried plunging it. We finally had to close it to our guests. This was a MAJOR inconvenience! There were also stains on the carpeting. So even thought it was beautiful, it didn't feel clean. Also, the dishwasher was not installed properly, tipping every time you opened it, making it difficult to load dishes. In addition, I contacted the property manager SEVERAL times about early/late check in. The promised to call me back but NEVER did. This is very frustrating when you consider the amount of money we paid for the place, only to be ignored. The good news is that we really did have a great time, but they definitely need to do some maintenance on the prop[erty and work on customer service.

Beautiful house!

The place is exactly as posted, the view of the golf course every morning was perfect! Everything you need is close by! The beach, stores, breweries, golf, shops! It slept everyone very comfortably, we will definitely be back!

Nice stay but a few issues

Had some trouble checking in. Was given all the wrong codes. Someone kept entering the home during the day or turning off the air conditioning remotely while we were gone.. The temps were in the mid 90’s outside during our stay.. One of the toilets in a main bathroom wouldn’t flush. Someone came out and supposedly fixed it, but it flushed the same. Horribly. Could not find any spare paper towel for the kitchen. Won’t you evolve/VRBO again.

This house is fabulous. 16 women and had plenty of room. We loved the comfort. We loved all the great pics and signs in house. We loved all the pillows on beds. The VIEW was spectacular. We loved cheering on the golfers (we used golf etiquette) We loved wood guy for stacking wood by fire pit, Natalie was a pleasure to work with. The ladies said this house we will return to. Awesome Place!

First we love the Shanty Creek area and stayed there many times. This is the best of all houses in Shanty Creek. The setting is fantastic looking over the green and right down the fairway of Cedar Creek hole #1. The first floor is big and open. We had a family gathering staying in two houses but using this house as the gathering spot. There was plenty of room with the adults upstairs and the kids down. The place was very clean, well laid out and as the pictures show, just beautiful.

Family Reunion

We hosted a family reunion for 3 days and had a wonderful time! The house was a perfect gathering place with ample overflow housing available just up the street at the the Lodges at Cedar River (either a hotel room or condo). many golf options, boating on Lake Bellaire and Torch Lake, shopping in Bellaire & Alden are all within 15-20 minutes. Highly recommend!
