It is isolated, so a visit to the grocery store on the way in will save you time if you think you will be going out for groceries later. I thoroughly enjoyed Birthday House. The host was very responsive, and the amenities were great. »

However, the minute one opened the front door, the smell of stale cigarette smell smacks you in the face. We immediately contacted the owner who gave a slight refund. If this was not in such a rural area, we would not have stayed even as long as we did as we are non-smokers. « The hotel is in very poor condition. There is no closet in the room. It definitely shouldn't be on your website with a 4.6 rating. We didn't stay there. As soon as we saw the condition of the hotel, we cancelled. »

« This is an older motel, parking right at the door to your room, the room was clean and the bed was comfortable. I needed a place to sleep for the night for work in the area and this location was perfect for what I was looking for. As mentioned this is an older motel that could use some renovation, but it was also one of the lowest nightly rates in town so I found it to be a good value for the money. If I find myself needing a room again in the Washington, NC area I would definitely stay here...

« Little Inn on Main is a quaint Inn & convenient to everything. Parking is conveniently located at the back & very near the building it was easy to unload / load luggages to vehicle. The room was clean, it had sufficient extra supply of towels, paper towels, toilet paper, bath soap, & shampoo/conditioner, & many good recommendations in the bookbinder located in the room. There is a coffee shop next door with awesome choices & reasonably priced. They also carry travel supplies incase you forget...
