The Space:
Welcome to the upbeat and vibrant second floor of a quiet, three-unit building situated in a beautiful and secure neighborhood. You'll have a private entrance with convenient keyless self-check-in, ensuring a hassle-free arrival. Parking is conveniently located right next to the unit entrance for easy access. The master bedroom and second bedroom are thoughtfully placed near the washroom at one end of the home, while the third bedroom is situated on the opposite side, adjacent to the inviting living room. The dining room features a table that comfortably accommodates four, perfect for sharing meals and creating cherished memories. The open-concept design seamlessly integrates the dining, kitchen, and living areas, creating an ideal space for entertaining friends and enjoying quality time with family. The kitchen boasts beautiful, brand new appliances and is fully stocked with a toaster, microwave, coffee machine, Nespresso, and dishwasher, ensuring all your culinary needs are met. Get ready to enjoy a delightful and memorable stay in this lively and well-equipped space.

The Neighborhood:
Nestled in the picturesque and historic area of Bedford, this location offers stunning views of the Bedford Basin. It is conveniently situated near local shops such as Izzy's Bagels and Mudwraps to Manicures, providing an opportunity for a rejuvenating spa experience. Within minutes, you can reach the Lion's Den Swimming Pool, Bedford Yacht Club, and breathtaking parks along the Bedford Basin, as well as public basketball and tennis courts. We highly recommend taking a leisurely stroll along Shore Drive, known as one of the most scenic streets in Nova Scotia.

Getting Around:
Conveniently located right outside the front door, the main bus route provides easy access to transportation. Additionally, parking is included for your convenience. The neighborhood is highly walkable, allowing you to explore the area on foot. With Bayers Lake, Downtown Halifax, Downtown Dartmouth, and the Airport just a 20-minute drive away, Bedford serves as a central hub for those eager to discover all that Nova Scotia has to offer.

Additionally, cable TV and air conditioning are not available.


PARKING:
In Halifax, parking availability is limited. To efficiently manage the small number of parking spots available and enhance our guests' experience, we've collaborated with the parking operator, 'Honk.' Guests can conveniently select their desired parking duration and make payments by scanning the QR code displayed on the parking sign or with the provided link. Please make sure to register your vehicle to prevent any potential tickets from parking enforcers.
- The guest can arrive any time and purchase the nightly rate for $10, valid until 11:00 am.
- The guest will be notified before 11:00 am to extend parking.

Beautiful Space

We absolutely this space. It was bright with lots of large windows and spacious in size. It had all the amenities we needed during our stay. The only disappointment was the advertisement stated the beds were supremely comfortable, and they were not comfy at all. Other than that we loved everything about the place and would stay again, but perhaps bring a foam mattress with us for the bed. Easy check-in and check-out. Easy parking and we did not have to pay. We stayed on the weekend, so parking was not an issue, however there is an optical business downstairs, and this may make parking more difficult during the week. The stairs to the apartment are very long and steep, so would not recommend for anyone with mobility or arthritis issues. Nice deep soaker tub. TV has a Firestick, so lots of shows and movies to watch. The advertisement states there is no ac, but we did notice portable ac units in the closets. It is a busy street, so you hear traffic and trains, however everything quieted down my 11 p.m.

In Halifax to meet new grandson

We chose this rental because the location was very close to our son’s home. The stay was difficult mainly because the beds were so uncomfortable. My husband and I like to have our own bed and there were 3 bedrooms with a bed each but none were comfortable and my husband especially had trouble sleeping. This, to me, is the most important requirement for a vacation rental. We had driven all the way from Ontario and spent our days with a new baby. We really needed a good nights sleep. The unit was comfy like a cottage with gently used furniture. We had some safety concerns. Stairs leading from parking lot outside to unit were steep and had no railing. longer railing is needed on the steep stairs inside going up to unit. Grab bars should be in bathtub area since tub is a deep soaking tub and difficult to get in. Kitchen counter and bathroom counter had been painted and were very unappealing. Didn’t make me want to cook at all. Washer and dryer were handy to have but the mice and rat traps visible beside them were disturbing to see. All necessary toiletries and household paper items were available so that was good. I am guessing this unit hasn’t been rented that many times. If the owners could fix the aforementioned items we would stay there again. The location was perfect for us.

Spacious and Clean, Stairs, Slightly noisy

Couldn't ask for much more. Large and clean space for myself and my two adult sons with three full bedrooms as advertised. I should mention that that the suite is on the second floor with access being a very long flight of stairs so would not be appropriate for mobile impaired and maybe elderly. The suite is near the 'highway' and train tracks so a bit noisy- might be worse in summer if the windows need to be open. An initial problem with not receiving the check in form needed but that was easily resolved with a phone call. All in all recommended- would use again .

Large Apartment

Location was good for us because we were visiting friends close by. It was noisy at night because of close train tracks and trains blowing their horn throughout the night. Traffic also loud. But loved the space it afforded us. Bedding could use a refresh as could the br furniture.
