Devon Bolthole Near Dartmoor National Park

A charming holiday cottage, situated in the pretty village of Highampton, in west Devon's stunning rolling countryside. We are in the heart of the beautiful Tarka Valley, between Bude and Dartmoor. It is perfect for getting away from it all, to unwind and relax; but it also offers a range of activities to entertain both young and old all year round.

Our cottage is situated in a small and tranquil, privately owned, development of only thirteen properties and is set within 3.5 acres of land.

Leisure facilities include a well stocked fishing lake with 5 fixed docks, a picnic area with a BBQ, picnic table and children's' play area. There is also an in-door swimming pool which is open daily, all year round. Swimming pool facilities include changing rooms, showers and toilets. N.B. The pool is unmanned - access is restricted to those staying on-site and is by key only.

For convenience, there is a public phone on-site (outgoing calls only) and an on-site coin operated laundry room with automatic washing machines and dryer.


Being between a National Park and famous costal line, it is hard to imagine a more perfect English location for a relaxing and beautiful retreat.
