From the moment we entered, it was clear that this was no ordinary rental. The property has been updated with modern touches but retains a beach cottage feel. The reclaimed wood floors throughout are amazing. Massive primary with vaulted ceiling, brick outer wall, and a primary bathroom that is so large it must have been a bedroom or garage in a past life. Huge walk in shower and large claw-foot soaking tub under a chandelier. We wanted to take the primary suite home with us. Two additional bedrooms are nicely sized and very comfortable. All bedrooms have substantial closet space, and hand selected antique dressers and furniture were thr perfect finishing touch. Outside, the chilled pool, hot tub, and outdoor kitchen are the perfect combination for relaxation. Bonus - the icemaker outside never slows down. Two slide-out built in refrigerator drawers outside as well. The extra large carport can house multiple vehicles, a boat, or RV and is well lit and convenient. Inside, the decor and lighting are clean, crisp, and extra calm... very tasteful. The kitchen and pantry are extremely well stocked... you won't need to hit Walmart for anything. The neighborhood is very quaint, safe, and friendly, and only about two blocks from the beach. Old Town is less than a 5 min drive. Two front porches with table and chairs were very nice to enjoy coffee and watch the early morning dog walkers. We look forward to our next visit.
