The Space:

Inside, the cottage is thoughtfully arranged to offer both comfort and privacy. The welcoming living room is the ideal place to relax, with two large, cosy sofas, a TV and a DVD player. The open plan kitchen dining space, with its large table seating up to ten guests, is perfect for long, leisurely meals together. The fully equipped kitchen includes a range cooker, dishwasher, fridge freezer and all the essentials for home cooking, as well as a utility cupboard with a washer-dryer and ironing facilities.



The layout of the cottage makes it particularly well-suited for groups. The upper floor is bathed in natural light from a large lantern window and features a stylish open-plan sleeping area with two generous single beds that can be converted into a luxurious super king. Folding double doors lead to a second bedroom overlooking the gardens, which can also be set up as either two singles or a super king. A contemporary shower room with a drench-style shower and WC completes this floor, making it a perfect space for a family, two couples or a group of friends.



Downstairs from the kitchen and dining room, a third large bedroom offers a tranquil retreat, decorated in soft, calming tones with vintage furnishings. It features twin beds that can be arranged as a super king, along with a pretty day bed with a pocket-sprung mattress. If needed, an additional fold-up bed can be provided without compromising on space. The elegant bathroom on this floor includes a double-ended bath with a shower, plenty of hot water and fluffy white towels, ensuring everyone can get ready in comfort before heading out to explore the city.

If you're looking for the perfect setting that encompasses the look and feel of the City of Bath then Benson Cottage is perfect for you. The cottage is located 5 minutes from Bath High Street for shops, cafes, bars and excellent night life. The Roman Baths and Thermae Bath Spa is under 10 minutes walk away. Other sites are within walking distance including the Royal Crescent and Pulteney Bridge. There are guided walk tours, bus and boat tours available.

We would like to add that Hay hill is a quiet neighbourhood occupied by local residents and we ask during your stay if you please be respectful. No use of outdoor space after 10pm.



Getting Around:

Bath Spa is within walking distance from the house, once you are at the cottage a car is not needed if you are staying in the city centre. All shops, restaurants and bars that are in Bath City centre are within walking distance from the cottage. There are local bus stops nearby.
