Gorgeous mountain views await from this bright and welcoming 2 bedroom retreat! Centrally located within minutes of shops, restaurants, downtown Basalt, and a 25 minute drive to Aspen, Snowmass and Glenwood Springs, this is the perfect home base to experience all that the Roaring Fork Valley has to offer!

This recently built modern apartment features hardwood floors, new appliances, open living space and ample windows overlooking fantastic valley scenery. The kitchen is well equipped with stainless steel appliances, butcher block countertops, and everything needed to prepare a delicious meal. Enjoy a morning cup of coffee on the balcony or gather around the stylish dining table with a glass of wine while admiring the stunning sunset views.

PLEASE NOTE: There are 2 other vacation rentals on the property that can be rented in conjunction with this home for larger groups up to 15 people. This apartment is above the garage of the main home, which is a 3 bedroom vacation rental that sleeps 8, Airbnb listing # 39444731. A view from one of the bedrooms overlooks the entrance of the main home courtyard and the tiny home can be seen from the balcony, however there is a privacy fence surrounding the tiny home. This apartment is private and there are no shared spaces whatsoever, although you may encounter other guests in the driveway. The main home and tiny home have separate parking locations.

A 4WD OR ALL WHEEL DRIVE VEHICLE IS REQUIRED DURING WINTER MONTHS due to unpaved mountain roads.

There is air conditioning in the main living area and the bedroom and bathroom can be cooled if the doors remain open.

This home does not have cable, however, Netflix and Hulu Plus are complimentary.

2 parking spaces are available in driveway.

A Pack-n-Play is available for your use.

Guest packages cannot be mailed to this home as they are routed to a parcel locker that only owners are able to access.

Included in the price of your rental is an Administrative Fee for $59. This is required protection insurance provided by Waivo for up to $2500 in accidental damage. The full agreement and list of coverage details can be found in the Additional Rules section on the checkout page.

HOUSE RULES
These rules must be observed on the premises of the Property you have booked. The renter of the Property shall be referred to herein as the “Guest” or “You” and the owner of the Property shall be referred to herein as the “Homeowner”. You, as the Guest, accept and assume full responsibility for ensuring any person permitted at the Property abides by the rules expressed herein. Upon booking, reservation and payment, you agree to abide by the following rules:
A. You are responsible for all occupants of the home and must require that all rules herein, as well as the within the Short Term Rental Agreement, are followed.
B. No one under the age of twenty-five (25) shall qualify to rent this property. You shall not rent or stay at the Property unless there shall be at least one Guest over the age of twenty-five (25) concurrently renting or staying at the Property. All children must be under direct adult supervision at all times.
C. Smoking, vaping and all recreational drug use are NOT permitted in the house or on the Property. A fine will be assessed if these policies are not observed.
D. You must take Garbage/Trash to the curb on the scheduled day(s) of trash removal and not before, as indicated in the Guest Guide located within the Property.
E. Pets are NOT permitted in the house or on the Property unless otherwise stated in the listing. Manager is not authorized to make exceptions to these terms. Not abiding by these terms may result in eviction and forfeiture of amounts paid.
F. You, or any other person on the Property during your stay, may not interfere with the peaceful enjoyment of the neighbors. Quiet hours begin at 10:00 PM - 8:00 AM daily. Quiet hours consist of no music and keeping all audio at a minimum level out of respect for the surrounding residents.
G. You are solely responsible for any other person at the Property. Additional persons, other than the number of guests reserved and booked in the original booking and reservation, may NOT stay overnight at the Property.
H. You will be responsible for any fine and/or violation that is imposed on the Homeowner due to the negligence of any person permitted on the Property by you.
I. You shall abide by all Federal, State and Local laws.
J. You shall notify the local police and Homeowner of any illegal activity that is witnessed in or around the Property.
K. You agree not to use the Property for any unlawful purpose, including but not limited to, the sale, use or possession of illegal drugs on or around the Property.
L. Absolutely no hazardous materials are permitted to be in or around the Property at any time.
M. You may not use or store Kerosene or space heaters at any time in or around the Property.
N. The burning of candles is not permitted within the Property, with the exception of birthday candles.
O. Under no circumstances may a stove, oven or range be used as a source of heat. All appliances are to be used only for their intended purpose.
P. Charcoal and Gas Barbecue grills may not be used inside any structure located on the Property.
Q. You may not bring your own grill (of any type) or fire pit for use on the premises.
R. Tents or other structures may not be erected on the Property.
S. Commercial photography or filming is not permitted on the Property.
T. You shall use ventilating fans at all times when bathing or cooking.
U. All windows and doors must remain closed during inclement weather.
V. You shall notify Manager of any pest control problems.
W. The use of any provided swimming pool or hot tub is at your own risk. You further understand that any interruption of use will not alter or change any of the terms of this Agreement.
X. You may not block the fire escape at any time.
Y. The Homeowner does not permit large gatherings at the Property. A disturbance caused by you or any person permitted on the Property during your stay which results in any police action, complaints from neighbors is considered sufficient cause for immediate termination of this Agreement, immediate eviction and forfeiture of all monies paid as permitted by law.
Z. Housekeeping: There is no daily housekeeping service. While linens and bath towels are included in the unit, daily maid service is not included in the rental rate. We suggest you bring beach towels. No towels

Stayed at this vrbo with a friend for a 4 day snowboard trip at Snowmass. Was only about a 25-30 min ride to Snowmass. A handful of good restaurants were about 1/2 mile away. The condo was very clean, updated, modern, and had everything we needed. Would definitely stay again.

We had a great stay! Check in and check out was simple and well communicated. The apartment was clean, well appointed, and was perfect for our family of 4. The location was excellent for skiing! Parking is very tight, we were able to park our full size truck barely, but would not have been able to park 2 cars as advertised in the listing.

This was a great place for a ski trip! The space was clean and kitchen was well stocked for! Would defiantly stay again! Great location to drive to the resorts but is a bit closer to El Jebel than Basalt.

Good but questionable

The reviews were absolutely correct about the highway noise. For those wanting to enjoy the clean Colorado air with doors & windows open, this is not the place. The unit was clean and the bed was most comfortable, however, the TV was very disappointing, the lights in the living room & outside porch did not work at all, the couch was extremely uncomfortable and the shower had the worst pressure I’ve ever experienced. Basically for the price we paid it was a bust in our opinion. Sorry, but you need to make several improvements.

A great place to stay

This was the perfect property for us. We needed 3 beds for 2 friends and a child, and this gave us the 3 beds we needed (the sofa was extremely comfortable), in a beautiful place. It was very well appointed, and near good restaurants and amenities. The only complaint was that the highway noise was a little loud, but we'd stay here again.

Review of Modern Apt near Basalt

The property was fine, clean and updated. My biggest issue was the noise from the highway. If you are hoping for peace and quiet, do not stay at this property. It is close to the highway which is busy all of the time. Two complaints, several of the lights did not work including all of the lights in the living room as well as the outside lights. And I had to supply my own toilet paper and kleenex which I did not expect for a 3-day rental. What was left only lasted 1/2 of a day.

Basalt Getaway

This comfortable apartment was perfect for two friends sharing a ski vacation. We each had our own room with warm, snuggly beds. The kitchen was well supplied with cooking utensils and the living room/dining room had adequate space to relax. The views were delightful! The drive to Snowmass was less than 1/2 hour away which made this the perfect place to stay for our ski vacation.

Impressive modern apartment in perfect spot

This unit is 5 minutes from Whole Foods, and also reflects that style: modern, sparkling, perfect size, easy access, private, quiet. Sitting just above the garage gives it a unique view from the top, also conferring extra privacy. Being air conditioned keeps any noise out when closing the windows, perfect night sleep (or keeping the bedrooms windows open gives you a serene nature noise from the koi pond in the back...)

Basalt garage apartment

My husband and I spent a week in lovely basalt that is a half hour outside of Aspen as we hiked daily in the area. The apartment was modern and clean. Very comfortable with easy highway access. There is some highway noise sitting outside on the small deck but inside you can’t hear it. The apartment had everything we needed to be comfortable for the week.
